We purchased this to put a gift card in and let my granddaughter open it. This is a good one. We purchased 3 other puzzle boxes that we thought would accept credit card of gift cars and they would not accept the credit card. tis blue one is the way to go.

Price is decent, finish was pretty nice, fit a little bit loose. It was a little tricky it took me 15 minutes to figure out. But I do have a little experience.

Great puzzle. My grandson (age 12) loves it. I get him a new puzzle box every year for Christmas, each one a little more challenging. He solved some of the steps quicker than I thought he would. Puzzle was painted nicely, and the wood did not have any flaws.

The instructions offer no help on how to solve it so I can't tell if mine is broken, or if I need to push or pull harder. I got the top off but the middle parts will not budge in any direction and it's not clear at all what the key is for. Since some people said theirs was broken and the box was poor quality I'm not really sure what my next step is. The key is flimsy and doesn't seem to fit anywhere. Why isn't there a video with the solution? So frustrating!

I love this little puzzle box and they cannot be beat for price and complexity. I did however have to do an emergency repair as the glue on one of the corners was so sparse I had to repair the box within minutes of solving it. Was not the fault of the manufacturer though. Front desk folk who received it dropped it. I would think they would be built strong enough to survive a small fall, but otherwise this is a wonderful little box with a fairly difficult series of moves to gain access to its 2 hiding areas.
