I've been looking for a rug that would go with our furniture and room colors and I was having a hard time finding a rug that would work for a reasonable price. When I came across this one it seemed like the perfect rug: it was the right size (7'9" x 10'0"), the colors and asymmetrical design seemed like they would work for where I wanted to use it and the price was very reasonable.Now that I have it installed I absolutely love it. The colors were perfect - what the pictures don't show is that it has some bronze to it (it works with the bronze in the artwork on the wall) and there is a definite nap to the rug so which way you vacuum or brush it will affect the look of the rug somewhat.The rug itself is not especially thick although it appears to be well made. I had ordered a rug pad to use with this (purchased on AMAZON: Mohawk Home Dual Surface Felt and Latex Non Slip Rug Pad, 8'x10', 1/4 Inch Thick) and combined with the pad the rug feels much thicker and very comfortable. Note that the rug matched the advertised dimensions and arrived rolled up and covered in plastic. Once it was rolled out the inside end had a little curl to it but flattened out within a couple of minutes.I definitely recommend this rug, although I would also suggest that you order a rug pad to go under it.

This is a lovely rug, very attractive and comfortable to walk on. The color might be a little lighter than it looked online, but it’s pretty close. The leaf design is carved, so it really stands out. It seems thick and plush, and the binding on the edges is tight and well stitched. It does look like it’s been stored for a while, and it didn’t want to unroll. I rolled it up the opposite way, and hopefully that will take care of the curled edges.My mail carrier is going to hate me, because I’m ordering the 8 foot round one for my living room next.

This is a beautiful area rug and adds a warm touch to your room. It does have a "funky" chemical smell that some carpets have. It dissipates pretty quickly however.

Just put this down in the kitchen (No. There are no kids still living with us, in case you wonder). We love it. Quality construction. Side seams are finished very well. It is wonderfully soft underfoot. It definitely needs something underneath to keep it from sliding on hardwood floors. I highly recommend the Gorilla Grip carpet padding underneath. We bought the ~4x6 rug and 2 runners to match at the kitchen bar and back door. I bought a 6X9 size of the padding and cut to fit the 3 rugs plus an extra one.The colors of the rugs vary from photo to photo on Amazon. I hope this helps clarify. They range from dark brown as coffee grounds to light as overly creamed coffee. They are in the neutral palette, when emphasized by incandescent lighting. Not too yellowy. Our kitchen has warm CFL lights and the tones are very warm. There are about 4 shades of tans and brown (including the dark brown branches) all neutral, and the rusty-red berries add a nice pop of color. There are also flecks of a medium green, which we have throughout our kitchen.Now, under LED lighting, which emphasizes the cooler tones in the rug, the browns stay pretty true, but the tan takes on a ever so slight tone of yellow. The flecks of green stay pretty much the same. I notice the two- and three-toned berries more and see the berries as more of a mauve and cabaret.We love these rugs. I hope this has been helpful.
