A very entertaining book about sharing!
I was looking for a book for my preschool class about sharing and came across this jewel. My two-year-old class LOVES it, and we’ve already read it several times. They dance and sing along to the “Love my doggy ice cream” chant, watch with big eyes at the parts when the dinosaurs come in, and love to yell “SPOON!!!” and “It’s AWESOME to share!!” when those pages are turned. This is very repetitive, colorful, catchy, and entertaining! It also teaches a great message. We talk about what things would be different if Groovy Joe had not shared his ice cream.

If you aren't buying this book, you're doing it wrong
Groovy Joe Dinosaurs and Ice Cream is the absolute favorite of my preschoolers. The simple repeating pattern makes it fun for them to join in reading the story, the pictures are amazing, and this book is so much fun. Do yourself a favor if you spend anytime with 2-6 year olds, buy this book. You will not regret it.

Fun book to read to kids!
My preschoolers love this book! I get super animated and sing the “Love my doggy ice cream” part. They love the repetitiveness of the book. After the first dinosaur, they can usually fill in the blanks when I pause to have them finish the sentence.

One of my daughters favorite books
My daughter and I have gone through lots of children's books. We routinely go to the library and get about 10 books every 2 weeks. I tend to buy the ones she likes the most. I bought this one. Its probably one of her top 5 favorite books. She's always choosing it to read for bedtime. She really likes when I sing the "Love my doggie ice cream!" part. Whenever she want's something I have(usually food) she regularly tells me "It's awesome to share!", haha. This book definitely made an impact on her. It's a fun and crazy book.

My 3 year old loves this book!
My 3 year old girl is obsessed with this book! Such a cute story about sharing with colorful pictures and a cool dog named "groovy joe". She especially loves the pages where the dinosaurs storm in and Joe shares his ice cream with them. Highly recommend!

Grooviest Yet!
Eric Litwin has outdone himself with Groovy Joe! Not only is it well written, beautifully illustrated, (Kudos to Tom Lichtenfeld!) and interactive, but it has a fun song & dance that goes with it, and it teaches kids the value of sharing! I am an educator by trade, I teach preschool music. I read this book to 4 classes today of children ages 2-5, and all of them absolutely LOVED IT!! They especially enjoyed the roaring like dinosaurs! I highly recommend Groovy Joe Ice Cream & Dinosaurs to anyone looking for an amazing interactive musical children's book!

Fun book!
My son loves this book! Great rhythm and flow, repetition to encourage child engagement, vibrant illustrations, FUN. We especially loved it because we listened to an online version first. That helped me not feel lost reading the song parts.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!
I HAVE USED THIS WHILE TRAINING TEACHERS IN FLUENCY. I MADE THEM CHANT IT AND IT WAS HILARIOUS. MY HUSBAND AND I ALSO DRAMATIZED IT WITH OUR TWO GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. THE ATTACHED IMAGE IS THEM BACK AT HOME LOVING IT AGAIN. THEIR MOM SENT IT TO ME. THIS BOOK IS PRICELESS JANET MORT PHD

My 2 1/2 year old grandson loves this book, and I love reading it to him! (Although they do follow the same format, all Eric Litwin books are great)
