These worked great on our tropical vacation. However I do regret getting the colored band, the design was not cute and definitely stuck out when I was dressed nicer. Scent is not over powering. I wish they made an anklet version....that would be perfect!

I attract insects - and collect insect bites - easily so these have been a godsend. The repellent insert lasts 2 weeks and needs to be replaced to be effective so buy refills to have on hand.

Para'Kito wristbands came highly recommended on travel blogs I read, so my wife and I decided to try these on our trip to Phuket, where mosquitos were aplenty at the resort we planned to stay at. We wore the Para'Kito wristbands daily, and they were effective at keeping me free of any insect or bug bites. My wife on the other hand had a handful of mosquito bites, thus the 4 star review. The refill pellets aren't cheap, but this is a great alternative to liquid insect repellent sprays. Overall, I would recommend these wristbands.

Works in Eugene Oregon, works at the outdoor concert in the evening, works around yard and patio, or outdoor parks, early mornings or late afternoons, early evenings, even around midnight when the mosquitoes are by mostly active, I wear them both, in opposite direction one on the wrist the other on the ankle, 15 days now still very strong scent, I store them in a zip bag when I don’t use them. Highly recommend.74

This product is amazing, if you're only going to be outside for 30 minutes to an hour walking your dog or doing your own power walk is the perfect item instead of using Off spray which is really intended if you are going to spend 8 hours outside. I did experience a slight skin irritation as the fragrance was a bit over powering but that is because I have stage IV Breast cancer and my skin is still extremely dry from my Chemo and Radiation treatments, I didn't get any blisters. Pellet lasts 2 weeks, so you can use it and then just change it out with a new one. This is still a great product and a huge plus this isn't made in China, its actually made in France!!!! If I could give 10 STARS I would.

This product absolutely does not repel mosquitos. Tried wearing it on my wrist and again on my ankle. Within minutes of stepping outside I was covered in mosquitos. (I live in SouthWest Florida so "covered" is not an exaggeration.) I tried staying outside to see if it needed a few minutes to create a 'zone', but nothing deterred the little fiends. My recommendation, don't bother wasting money on these if you live in a mosquito intense area.

Where I work mosquitoes are plentiful and getting bit multiple times a day is typical. I found that I get a few less bites but nothing remarkable. At home or around town where mosquitoes aren’t as plentiful I see a remarkable difference with only an occasional bite. I’d purchase again knowing it’s not going to eliminate the pests.

These anklets or bracelets are awesome for people who do not like to spray themselves with chemicals to keep bugs away. The inserts fit well into the bracelet. Keep it off of your skin. The smell is not overbearing or atrocious unless you are inside with it. I highly recommend keeping it in a Ziploc bag while you are not using it because if you bring it inside, it will smell the whole house up of the product that is inside. You can take the insert out and wash the bracelet and reuse it. The insert is high-quality and I have not had any issues with bugs bothering me wearing it on my ankle. They did not travel up to my arms or anything to bite me. No mosquito bites anywhere on my body while I’m wearing this bracelet on my ankle. I highly recommend this for people with sensitive skin.

Mosquitoes definitely don’t like the smell.

Love this product, and they are very easy to use. Will be using them again shortly as we go to the Far East to prevent any mosquito bites, great for use in malaria or Dengue Fever areas.
