Highly recommended!
I had heard some people say that a tone block makes no difference, and I’d heard others say it did. I didn’t know who to believe, so I bought one of these to see for myself. It made a big difference on my Ibanez Jen Jr Sp!It gave my tone more bite. More sustain. More chunk. And, it’s also more responsive and sounds fuller.I don’t know what happened to those others when they installed one. For me though, I’ve been playing guitar for 30+ years, I wish I had known about this all along! As far as the quality, service, and price? I’d honestly have to give them an A in all the above.I emailed them, they responded. I installed it myself pretty easily. And, I searched around for this a lot before buying. There are a lot if other companies that offer similar products, and all of them were more expensive. Why pay “some other company” more, for a a block got your FR Trem, when you can get it cheaper from Floyd Rose!?If you haven’t used one before, and you’re wondering if they’re worth it. IT DOES!ThanksPS:A tip to anyone that’s going to install this themselves: When taking the saddles off, keep track of which string each saddle came from, and make sure to put them all back in the right place. Some tremolos have compensated saddles, so putting the high E saddle on the D string, for example, would cause a ton of fret buzz. Ask me how I know!

Great sustain!
I bought it for my MIJ Jackson Dinky. It’s made a positive difference in my tone and sustain. I wish I had made this upgrade years ago! Look up installation instructions on YouTube.

Big difference from "Special" pot metal
Not that my guitar sounded bad, but the big brass block added noticeable note clarity as well as low and mids compared to the FR Special stock block. Night and day. Can't say what difference it'll make if your block is already brass, but from the pot metal, it's well worth the price.

Fit perfectly on my Jackson Licensed Floyd Rose.
IMO there's nothing to dislike about this brass block. It's well finished, it was relatively easy to mount to the tremolo system, it looks great and it's a definite upgrade over the cheap zinc block put on my Jackson Licensed Floyd Rose tremolo system.

A small change with a monster benefit in tone and sustain. No brainer.
I'm not going to fool you. It is a pain to change the Floyd Rose sound block, and I am a luthier certified on several guitars having Floyd Rose whammy systems. Floyd Rose's are my thing. But, also know this: compared to the stingy pot metal joke of a soundblock that is stock on my Jackson Special Floyd Rose system, this big brass soundblock is well worth the improvement in tone and sustain. It is hard to believe it is the same guitar. So much better. I am also an engineer and the calculations told me that my Jackson would sound much fuller with sustain for days with the big brass soundblock. But being told you will get tone and sustain and actually experiencing the feeling from your own gear, including having your guitar reverberate and vibrate against you with each note is exhilarating. I knew from the calcs this would be something to do sooner than later and I changed the soundblocks as soon as I was able to; but, I wish that I could have changed my soundblock sooner.

Works well. Good sustain improvement.
Check dimensions relative to old block. If not, you may need to ditch the trem cover on the back of your guitar.

Excelente producto. Mejora el sustain de tu guitarra
He utilizado el tremolo block en 2 de mis guitarras, y es muy notable el cambio en el tono. Me gusta mucho la mejora.

Yes. There is a difference.
My Kramer Focus 3000 was lacking resonance compared to my other "non Floyd" guitars. I do feel a difference, and it does add sustain, and resonance. Not 150%, but i do like the results.

Fantastic Upgrade for those wanting a fuller sound!!!
I have Floyd Rose equipped guitar and a PRS Tremonti. Both guitars have similar output pickups, yet the former was quite shrill and the actual output was noticably less, so I bought this upgrade, hoping to solve the problem. This hunk of brass will noticably round off the highs and bring out the mids/lower mids. I use a Marshall JCM 800, which is quite a trebly amp and I noticed an output increase as well, so I don't have to have the gain as high. It won't make a Floyd equipped guitar sound like a Les Paul, but the tonal upgrade is easily one of the best £30 I've ever spent.

Tone upgrade
Ik monteer deze messing blokken op al mijn gitaren met Floyd. Relatief goedkope upgrade met veel impact: meer sustain, wat sprankelender geluid bij cleans en meer ‘bite’ onder high gain. Altijd doen.

Very good!!!
The block has the effect similar to changing your strings from 9‘s to 10‘s. Ever aspect of the tone has more richness and volume. The sustain is better of course.Fitting it on the Floyd can be tricky but if I can do it anyone can.Tested on a Strat Ultra Lux.
