Beautifully simple.
I love this thing. I wanted a leather cover to just hold one A5 insert, and this does it beautifully. It’s real leather, so it smells great and will last forever. I love the simple and beautiful aesthetic to this. Top rating. There’s room to slip in a clip pen between the cover and an insert too.

Very nice, well made, durable
It's perfect for me. I use with "Field Book" memo pages. The leather is classy and durable. This is a huge improvement over the spiral wire pads. A little bulky for a shirt pocket but perfect for jeans. Try it!

Well made and simply perfect
Going to be using this on a trip to Florence and Venice Italy in October with my fiancee. Want to be able to keep notes... itinerary...tickers. all together in something that is durable yet looks good. Researched online for days. Didn't want the pen ring to make it more bulky. Didn't need storage for my credit cards. Wanted a nice thin, durable leather journal cover. This was the perfect solution. The stitching on it Is well done. The leather is supple yet tough. The books fit in it nice and thin but not flimsy and fits in front pocket. It came in a beautiful box and pouch with a sticker saying that it was homemade. Price was right on as well as I wasn't about to spend $30 to $50 on this. All in all... Perfect. Don't hesitate to buy.

High quality. Simple. Excellent.
Words can't describe how much I love this cover. So much so that I've purchased three. I'm tempted to buy a couple more in fear the product eventually goes away. Over the years I have purchased a number of notebook covers. One of them is CRAZY expensive. Several with pen loops. Some with ribbons to mark your place. One made of canvas! (Floppy and too big.) This morning cover is precisely right. The leather is just thick enough. The feel of the leather gives such a tactile pleasure that I can't describe. Not smooth; just perfect. And the fit and finish is on point. And … it's so simple. I don't want pen loops for all of my covers. A ribbon placeholder? Bah, for the notebooks where I want one, I just made one myself with some gutted parachute cord (I have a way to add one that works exceptional well—no stitching or cutting needed.) Anyway. Just fantastic.

Quality but a little big
I bought those as a gift and its nice quality, lol and feel. I'd say its a little overside for an A5 notebook. It does work well but makes the journal noticeably bigger.

Great leather notebook cover
I got this as a cover for my Yoment A5 Spiral Bullet Dotted Journal. It fits great! The sleeves are a little tight and the covers are hard to get in there, but that just makes it secure. It's definitely not slipping out. One thing I found out quickly is if you put both the front and back cover in each sleeve then the book no longer lays flat. That is because the sleeves are so tight the covers cannot move once they are slid inside. An easy remedy for this is to just put one of the covers in the sleeve (I chose the back cover) and leave the other one outside the sleeve. Now the journal will lay flat and it looks gorgeous. Another reviewer commented that the leather quality is bad, but I disagree. The leather is a fantastic quality and I love the color of it. The stitches look uniform and no stray threads. I imagine this cover will age really well. It also smells nice too :)

You’ll love it.
I love this thing. It does what it’s meant to. Craftsmanship is great. The size fits standard composition notebooks. There is no bleed. The material is thick enough and takes scratches pretty well.

It's beautifully made!
Absolutely love it. More then I expected and fits the journals perfectly...nice and snug without bulging or bending like in the photo of the product in Amazon.

Quality item
This is a lovely item which is of good quality, functional and a pleasure to use. It was well presented. I purchased it to hold two Moleskine A5 Cahier notebooks and it is certainly fit for purpose. I felt that the price was on point. Recommended.
