Sticky traps

Absolutely love these! They are very sticky which is their very purpose, to catch bugs. Maybe in the future they can put a little tab that sticks on each side of the white paper in different areas. Once it is secure on what you are using then it’s easier to pull the white paper off. Just a suggestion. When I use them on the sticks, I have to put a little piece of tape on one of the sides to keep it on the stick. If I don’t, it falls off the stick. I think the main reason is because of the humidity where I live is always 100%. The tape seems to work just fine holding it on the stick. You don’t need to use a big piece so it covers up the whole thing just a piece of tape by the stick. Will suffice on both sides. Just put another 4 together and as you see the bugs are already in a couple as I was putting g it together. Sorry, was not thinking of taking a picture and laid the last one down and it was covered in bugs on both sides so I cannot show you but you see what it’s already catching them on the new traps! It’s great that they give you many options to use the sticky pad, hanging it, and several ways to insert in the pot etc. The shovel was a very nice added bonus. Because of the high humidity in my area, I actually do put these in a gallon plastic bag and put them in my refrigerator. I have now had them in there for about six months and they are fine. They actually work. Super sticky so try not to handle them with bare hands. I use clothes gloves which work fine. You get so many that I have not had to re-purchase yet but I will. Fast shipping. Great price, easy to use and great quality.

These do a great job of catching fungal gnats and other tiny insects. They do not have any kind of attractant, other than their color, so you must put them where the bugs are flying and likely to land. The wooden sticks don't hold very well unless you cut a slit into them (I've got a dremel tool). A lot of people complain how hard it is to get the backing paper off, or that they're sticking together. This happens when they get too warm. Stick them in the fridge for a while and they're a lot easier to use. All of the designs have corner areas that don't have any adhesive. Use your finger nails to get them started, or even the end of one of the twist ties. DON'T remove one whole side without at least getting the other side started! It works best if you do both sides together, since you can push on the paper you've already loosened to help you on the other side. Go slowly, and it'll become easy to do. Used properly, these work great!

They do the job but, I personally am not a fan given that they will stick to anything and everything. My husband makes me buy these to keep the fungus gnats away. I own a lot of plants in my house so fungus gnats are a given, however, since putting out the traps it has helped reduce the amount we see around the house. They are extremely sticky, more sticky than I would like because it makes it difficult to put them out without getting them stuck to you. Also when I water my plants if I accidentally brush up against one it will stick to me like it's whole purpose depends on it. My dog has gotten into them as well and let me tell you how much fun it was to get it off of her furry snout. Overall it is a good product!

I’ve had a couple of these in past and I bought this particular set due to different things to put gnat trap on like sticks etc!! But these are so sticky and almost impossible to get peeling off that I don’t think I buy these again! Sorry just to sticky and makes a mess on hands trying to put in planters etc they will definitely do the trick for gnats and probably catch other small animals with this sticky trap it’s almost as strong as gorilla glue lol

This was a waste of money. Thank goodness it wasn’t expensive! These sticky-traps fall off the wooden stick and become useless because it’s clogged with dirt or wood chips from the planter. It has holes so you can hang them up somewhere, but even that proved to not work out very well. It’s also difficult to peel the wrapper off. I do not recommend these. The ones that already have the “spike” attached are much better. Save yourself the annoyance and get the other ones with the spike already molded into the trap.

Bought them to catch flies( I have a nearby chicken coop so we have flies) they worked better than expected! Caught flies , gnats, mosquitoes and your hair. ( very sticky!). But super cute in a pot. Even with the bugs stuck to them they are still cute and not really gross. I like the different things they come with to stick on or hang. I bought them for myself but keep giving them out to friends who also love them. Update:: I have had these a while now. Gave them to friends and family and they love them too!!! So useful!!!

Very sticky. Does the job. I love these traps. Easy to use.
