Monster High Jackson Jekyll Doll: The Monster High student body continues to grrr-ow with four new ghouls enrolling this year. Like his fellow classmates, Jackson Jekyll has a signature style with lots of scary cool details and an ancient monster heritage. Jackson Jekyll is the son of the ever so infamous Dr. and Mrs. Jekyll. Jackson would be lost without his best friend and sidekick, Crossfade, a chameleon, that blends into any situation and never calls attention to himself. Unfortunately, Jackson, the other half of Holt Hyde, finds his dual personality makes it hard for him to always keep his commitments, but he tries, and he looks fabulous doing it in his iconic outfit from the webisodes, complete with sweater vest and bow tie. He comes with his pet chameleon named, Crossfade, diary, doll stand, and accessory. The teenage children of the legendary monster menaces have gathered together under one roof to attend high school at Monster High. These ghouls are wild, they're fierce and they're totally trendy. They've left their parents' outdated haunting habits behind to form a killer style all their own. Collect all your favorite Monster High Dolls! Each doll sold separately. Review: Jackson is by far my favorite of the boy dolls. So much personality and detail. He comes with a spooktacular outfit and accessories, including a beautifully detailed sweater vest, satchel, and pet chameleon. The lime green is eye-popping and vibrant ( I love this green so much I bought a Jeep in this color). The glasses and high top shoes are brilliant details. His spectral green tells the story of this character. I call it green Spooky Green, as it represents another world, a world of spirit and possibility. Jackson, an apparent intellectual nerd, has another side, that side being called Hyde. But you need not know Hyde to see the other side. See the tell tale signs of piercings, the flame-colored streak in the hair. See the glasses ( glass is an old word for "mirror", a reverse image), which serves as kind of mask, a symbol of a person's higher inner being. Jackson is demonstrating for us the eternal, internal human struggle waged by us all, the struggle to BE who we truly ARE. Even the checkers are a symbol of our own three-sided natures. We are body, soul, and spirit - green, black, and gray. That's a lot of meaning to pack into one little piece of molded plastic. I wanted him so badly that I paid waaay too much in the secondary market, and unfortunately his packaging was crunched in shipping ( these sellers love to charge 4 times the retail price, but they don't want to put any packing materials in the shipping box to protect their customers' investment). Nevertheless, this is a super special toy, and I hope Mattel can re-release him so more people can enjoy him without the silly expense and hassle. Review: Details: Head: Large! Ear ring in one eye brow and yellow accents in hair under the bangs. Hair is gelled down but it is still a little awkward. Torso: Yin Yang tattoo on the back bellow the neck and signature flesh toned undergarments. Arms: Sturdy, and far less flimsy and fragile than the girl dolls. Legs and Feet: Less flimsy and fragile than the girl dolls Clothing: Separate sweater and collared shirt. The yellow under shirt has the blue bow attached to it. Glasses are oversized but are quite cute on this doll. Pants are made of a regular cloth material rather than jean fabric. Shoes are plastic. I find that the male dolls of Monsters High, with some exceptions I'm sure, are very well made. I don't feel as if he is going to fall apart in my hands. I often buy a doll if I plan to alter or personalize it in some way and this was quite easy with Jackson. Hair extensions fit easily and relativity seamlessly under his hair. I absolutely love this doll. My only criticism is of the exorbitant prices being charged for $14-$19 dolls consistently across sellers. Jackson, however, is one of the better priced dolls, but he is still a bit too pricy. I have no problem rewarding those who make things affordable. Most are buying these for their children, and that's who these overpriced sellers are hurting.

I have a starting doll/action figure collection and had purchased Holt back in June so it only made sense for when the time came to buy my second MH doll that I would go with Jackson. He was a little bit of an expensive purchase ($91.30) and is worth the money. I am very pleased with this product, the detail and color from his clothes to his glasses is just perfect and even his accessories (bag and pet) match his clothing. The fabric of his outfit is kindof soft to the touch and comes equiped with a cute little bowtie. His shoes however are plastic and his hair is rooted but while i imagined it to be soft, it is actually quite coarse as if excessive hair gel/spray had been applied it also tends to stick up if it is "disturbed" forcing me to have to flatten it with my fingers. This product is one of the best I have bought and I would recomment it wether you're a collecter, fan of MH, or not.

My girls are addicted to Monster High dolls. They are so hard to find in the stores. Amazon has the best selection and prices. The dolls do fall apart rather easily if your child is not use to playing with them.
