Slave Girl in the Harem Paperback – December 1, 2013

Harem tale unlike any I've read. Loved exotic locale, historical elements and satisfying ending. I think this could be one of my new favorites.

This was a good story. It was a well read theme, common theme, but with a few twists in it, it made it interesting. Not a bad read, maybe more of a 3.5 stars, but overall, a quick read.

I felt some parts of the story was rushed. There were areas that I did not feel were complete.It had a happy ending which I liked, but still felt there could have been a little more done in some chapters.

The story was not too bad but I could not get past the incorrect vocabulary. The author used a lot of "big" words but it was clear they didn't know the meanings. It was too distracting. I only made it about 30% of the way through before I had to give up.

It is real, this happens,has happened. Still does in some places. This story lets you into the time, and one can understand it. Compelling slave girl to a Compelling master. Is this my life now, is this what maybe?

Good read. She is kidnapped from her home and ends up sold as a slave. Circumstances eventually see her in a Harem where she becomes the sole lover of the palace heir.

A nice story, easy reading, couldn't put it down, read within the day, just needed to know how story ended.
