Good phone. Ease to set up

Good basic handset.Display easy to read. Good size buttons.Easy to set up, just charge for 7 hours then plug in and away to go.Light weight without being flimsy.Sound quality clear.Ring volume is OK, not the loudest but 20 different ringtone to choose from.Numbers added to the phone book are automatically sent across to the other handset/s.A couple of minor points to note: the phonebook will only store 50 numbers.There isn't a speakerphone option.I bought these from Amazon warehouse for a little under £24 for the twin handset version so no complaints for the price.

Very compact. Buttons easy to use. Sound quality good, (even when taken a couple of rooms away from the base station).The batteries are small (AAA sized) and were supplied in a discharged state, but this is probably because the unit uses NiMH batteries rather than lithium batteries, and I am used to lithium batteries arriving partially charged.Initially I considered the display to be unreadable, but this was caused by the discharged condition of the battery. Once the battery was fully charged the display was average for a phone of this type. It is nonetheless a small display, with not a lot of information on it, but acceptably readable once the battery is fully charged.Lots of facilities I have not tested, but since I bought it as a cheap temporary phone it does the job expected of it more than adequately.Unfortunately, between placing the order and the order delivery the price dropped by £6, so had I had a little more patience I could have saved myself £6.

The phone itself is really nice. Great sound quality on calls and so on.But the ringtones are the kind of synthetic screaching that will make your brain ooze out through your ears. The video attached is a run through of the ringtones , with the volume at its lowest (1). After two days of taking calls I'm going to tape up the speaker at the back and try not to let it drive me insane. On the upside, no-one will miss a call ever again...

Well worth the money and we'll made too.

Works well serves the purpus

I've had Panasonic DECT Phones for a couple decades and overtime they have been dropped in the garden pond fallen from pocket while up a ladder ect, I was unable to replace them with compatible ones so set out to replace them with more modern ones.What a saga, tried a few different makers all with the effect, low volume crap ringtones and a lack of build quality and all returned within 24 hrs.So returned to what I knew from to past to replace the lesser known makes I had tried for the brand I had used for decades. (A sound choice) volume and ringtones are different these days and not for the better there is a lack of volume for the ringer (not as bad as others) and a lack of choice of ringtones including the traditional ring ring not being there.But for sound clarity and ease of use and navigation they are my front runners in a field of contenders but very lacking in contestants.

This product is a complete waste of money. The writing on the screen telling you the caller is illegible. Unfortunately I did not try it until the return date had expired. This is the first time I had thought an item was not fit for purpose but was too late to return. I have ordered a new one today which states the called I.d. etc is clear. Let’s hope so. Not good enough Amazon.

I ordered this product for Australia and thought that the plug type would be for Australia bit it was a UK plug so please re-check before you order from Australia, I now have to buy adapters Oh well as long as they work..

Das Telefon ist ohne viel Schnickschnack völlig in Ordnung, aber ich lebe in Deutschland und es wäre phantastisch wenn die Betriebsanleitung in meiner Muttersprache und nicht in allen möglichen anderen Sprachen beiliegen würde und die Kabel nicht für ein anderes Land bestimmt sind, und wenn ich dann erst einen Adapter und ein passendes Telefonkabel kaufen muss, dann liegt der Preis über dem üblichen Einzelhandelspreis.Hat man erst alle Hürden genommen besitzt man ein solides Gerät mit dem man zufrieden sein kann.
