Works great and includes extra seals.
As an auto repair shop owner I can say I use these little suckers every day. I use one for oils and the second for brake fluid. The fluid capacity is great and ease of use is off the charts because of its size. They designed the unit so you can rebuild the unit with the 2 new seals they provide. The price is right and will be buying more!

Works Well, Though Struggles With Actual Oil
I originally purchased this to suck dirt/muddy water out of an underground sprinkler line before I replaced a broken sprinkler head. In the process of digging out the line, chunks of dirt fell into the fitting where the old sprinkler had broken off. I didn't want the new one to get plugged up on its first use - not sure how much of a risk that was but wanted to play it safe. I used the fluid syringe to inject water into the line and then suck it back out. It worked great and the sprinkler is spraying water clog free.I then used it to suck the engine oil out of my lawn mower. This proved far more challenging. The thinker oil was very difficult to suck out, and the syringe managed to suck up as much air as it did oil. I also found out the smaller extension hose that inserts into the main hose can easily be pushed all the way into the main hose, something to be aware of when trying to find the bottom the sump to suck out all of the old oil.Overall, it is a quality product with many uses. The only ding is the challenges it presents when performing its primary advertised function.

Well built
This worked well for me. I like the standard releasable latch that holds the tubing in place. I needed a longer tube, a quick trip to Ace for a 4' piece and the job was done.

Great for fluid transfer
This tool is the only thing that will put Hypoid gear oil in a Honda FB6 motorcycle. You have one inch of clearance between tail pipe and fill location. We also used it to suck out rear brake fluid. Had to clean it by sucking up a little hypoid drive oil and push it out in waste oil can. Cleaned out perfectly.

Only good for low-viscosity fluids.
I found that it works with low-viscosity oils. But if you want something for gear oil, don't buy this. The product description specifically says it works with gear oil. But it leaks horribly, making a mess everywhere, at the coupling between the tube and the syringe itself. In a nutshell, the pressure required to push the fluid out of it is enough pressure to make it leak first.
