DVD won't play, it says can't operate while driving! Even the car is in parking

The dvd player will not play while the car is in drive because of safety purposes and as per the law. The dvd player will play while the car is in park but the parking brake must be engauged. There is also a way to overide the dvd player to while the car is in drive. You must ground the parking brake wire on the cd player. Just remember safety first.

i bought unit but,after installing it, it keeps tell me " warning: video not available while driving". can someone help me please?

Put a toggle switch on it and ground it it tells you to hook it up to the emergency brake but you can overpass it by groundin a toggle switch buy the one with wires (toggle) and ground it and voila you can watch movies anywhere and everywhere even when driving of course you keep your eyes on the road

Does the radio have to be "flush" mounted in the dash for the screen to stand up? Radio would be indented 3/4" at top and 1/4" at bottom when mounted

It doesn't have to be but it looks better. It would work if it was screwed to the dash but it would block the your vision.
