How to open the case once fit?

It's a bit tricky. You'll need a box cutter razor blade to gently sperate both intelocking pieces of the case. Use your fingernail to run it from top to base, like if you were trying to pry it open. Your fingernail should stop along the locking edge. Use caution when inserting razor into edge of the case. Gently wedge razors sharp blade and wiggle intil a small gap between case. You could then use your fingernails to pull pieces apart.

The bars have to be loose tho yes? Is there a case that can hold bar incased in coa?

This capsule is designed to hold your smaller, thin gold bars firmly inside with the wafer in it. You would only see one side of your coin. This prevents your coin from rattling around and getting damaged. It also prevents most if not all air contamination. If you need further assistance please call us at 507-722-2601 or toll free at 866-727-4120 and we will be happy to help. ~ Kind regards from The OnFireGuy Crew

If putting 1g or 2g in these, is there a way to keep them from moving around? Just wondering how they fit and if mult fractional bars can be stored.

As long as the size of your item is less than the inside diameter of this capsule, then you should be just fine. The wafer will hold your bar snug inside the capsule so that it won't move around. If you need additional assistance you can reach us at 866.727.4120 and we will be happy to help. ~Kind regards from the crew at OnFireGuy

This product works great!

Great product? Works as advertised! I really like the black back ground of the capsule, it does a great job of accentuating the goods!

Great

I bought these to put a few 1g gold bars in each one so I don't lose the tiny pieces of gold I've got.

Great item

Loved the packaging! I used this item to display ONE GRAM bars. They fit perfectly! I didn't have to remove anything, adjust anything or carve anything out. Simply placed bars, and closed. What an amazing display!! Loved it!

DOES NOT FIT 1OZ GOLD BAR

I’m so confused by all the positive reviews here. 1 ounce gold bar does not fit in these packages, when it literally advertises that. The foam insert is fixed and does not easily cut out nor is it aesthetically pleasing to do so manually. Lastly, these cases are absolutely unopenable once they’re closed. Absolutely epic fail of major proportion.

Didn’t work

We couldn’t get our silver or gold to fit without taking the cushion out. Without the cushion they fit great but it’ll scratch the gold up. It worked but not what we wanted.

I just received them, but it appears they will hold together very well. The gold is highly accented with the black background. They are convenient for storing in a safe.
