Works as expected.
So far so good. It holds a charge, but not for as long as the original battery that came with the string trimmer. Don't buy knock off brands. Knock offs gave me about 20 seconds of use per charge. This one is adequate. By the time I use 2 or 3 batteries with the string trimmer or chain saw, I'm tired anyway (68-year-old woman).

Much cheaper than sale price of big box stores
I have an electric lawn mower & had been looking for an extra battery for some time. This battery sells at about $230 at box stores, so I had delayed purchasing one. I found this one at under $120 & purchased it. I've used it multiple times already, it recharges in a couple of hours, and last about 45 minutes of consecutive use. It is a heavy battery, but it fits the charger perfectly and easy to connect to the lawn mower. The reason I purchased it was because in the summer when the temperature is in the mid to high 90s for weeks at a time, the heat drains the battery within about 25-30 minutes. With this additional battery, I would just swap it and continue mowing.

does not work after one year. over priced
I bought this 40v battery in may of 2025 and it does not work this spring of 2026. will not charge up.

As Advertised, Noticeably Less Capacity After a Year and a Half
After a year and a half of use, fully charged, this battery lasts about 25 minutes of mowing with my walk behind Ryobi mower. It would easily run for 40+ when new, but I guess that is to be expected. These batteries are durable and recharge relatively quickly.
