There are some pros and cons, but overall I LOVE this product! * APPLICATION: The application of this product is relatively easy, but takes getting used to! You have to be careful because it can be somewhat uneven if you don't apply all over the whole of the lips. Getting the kit is helpful, and allows the lip stain to peel off more easily. Be careful not to leave any blue specks on the lips! I have tried other lip stains that are similar, and this one has been the best in terms of application. The color doesn't bleed during application! * COLOR: The color can be somewhat of a con. The colors do not necessarily match the sample photographs, making it difficult to select what color to purchase. *WEAR: This stuff LASTS. I have naturally light colored lips, and typically apply at the beginning of the day. I will still see the stain after returning home from my work day. This means it has lasted through eating breakfast and lunch, drinking coffees and waters, and talking all day! It will fade but doesn't flake or rub off on my items. I LOVE it. FEEL: To me, it sometimes will dry out my lips to remedy this, I use a lip oil or chapstick and it helps a great deal. I LOVE that I can go through the day without feeling that cakey, flakey lipstick feeling! Once it's applied, you can't feel it at all!

I was super disappointed in this product. I'll admit, I mostly bought it because it looked like fun magic. I followed instructions...I exfoliated my lips and removed all from them. I applied heavily as instructed. The spray can't be controlled so holding that little useless black rag under your bottom lip is dumb. If you get too much spray...color runs...if you get too little...the purple won't come off. One spray is not enough and too sprays is too much. Next, the purple didn't peel off as shown...I know it seems to for others, but not for me. It peeled off in little shreds...if you rub it, you remove color. If you pick at it, it staines your fingers and fingernails. Sometimes it left behind little if any color on my lips. It always made a darker ring of color on the inside of my lips. First meal...even if that is soon...all color was gone. It's messy, expensive, didn't work, didn't last, and takes too long to deal with for those results. Contrary to how it is advertised, it DID dry my lips out a LOT. If I could get a refund, I would. Wanted magic. Got harsh reality. And yes, I tried it multiple times. I've read and reread the instructions, and entered chats where other women who say it works for them tried to tell me their tips and tricks. Nothing helped.

I’m wearing the shade “lovely” & I’m incredibly pleased with the result. This is a product that you might have to learn how to use but if you’re good at applying makeup to your face, this should be simple! The longer you leave it on, the more pigmented it gets & I loved that I could eat/drink & also apply a moisturizer on top of it without having that feeling of if I have to reapply or not. It yes of course faded a tiny bit towards the end of the day but you also have to remember that you're eating + drinking! & I loved it once it started to fade a bit because it was sooo natural looking. I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t like this product because it seriously has given me so much confidence + looks so good! GET EVERY COLOR!!

I got the “lovely kit.” I normally wear a dark cranberry colored lip. I’ve used it 3 times and it doesn’t last on me. I left it on the recommended 45 seconds and it lasted about 2 hours. Instantly gone if I ate a meal or drank from a water bottle. I use a water bottle frequently, so might last longer if that wasn’t the case. The last time I used it I left it on about 2 minutes to see if longevity increased. It was so dark that it wasn’t flattering and still didn’t last. Still about 2-3 hours, even when I ate my lunch carefully to try to keep it on. Other reviews recommend leaving it on for 15 minutes. I might try it at home just to see if it increases wear-time, but I think it would be way too goth looking for me. The flavor of the spray is not my cup of tea and the sprayer didn’t mist, more of a squirt, so it was all over when I sprayed it. (You might want to use it before you apply any other makeup.) I won’t buy this again. Seems like a few people like it, but it’s not for me. Might even just trash what I have left of this one. Totally not worth the hassle. I have much cheaper drug store stains that last longer and are definitely easier to apply.

TikTok influenced me and couldn't wait to try these lip stains, I read the instructions and thought I exfoliated my lips well but apparently, they were drier than I thought so I had some issues with patchiness. That was my fault, so I ignored that issue. The application was a bit tricky, it's thinner than you'd think and I had to keep fixing my lipline to keep things sharp. I applied two coats and let it sit for 25 seconds to test it. The lip stain smells nice and doesn't taste too bad should you get any in your mouth but the activator for the peel-off effect is where I had problems. Spraying it on the lip stain made the lip stain run down my chin, and I had to immediately fix that before it stained my chin or any of the skin around my lips. The lip stain did peel off as shown but I think I will wipe mine off from now on to avoid issues. The color was very pretty, darker than I saw in the examples, I will have to experiment to see what time limit my preferred shade is at but that's the fun thing about using new makeup. It lasted all day, through eating, drinking water, and even a quick face wash. There was no transfer and it looked pretty (minus the dry patches which were my fault) right until I removed it with some micellar water. I am excited to try more shades!

This stain works well and lasts almost an entire NYE Party worth of drinking! That's pretty solid. I've been told other lip stains burn, but this one does not sting or burn at all. However, the activator spray does sting a little bit on my face (around my mouth, not on my lips) I have sensitive skin so it may just be for me. It's not terrible either but it's also not necessary as I don't feel like it peels off like they show in the videos and it still stains your fingers. Better to just use a black wash cloth to remove. Regardless, I am in love with this stain!!

Before I start, I promise I followed the instructions. I even went to the website to make sure that I was doing this the right way. I first made sure that my mouth was nice and scrubbed so that the stain could be placed on clean dry lips. As soon as the stain touched my mouth it tingled, borderline burned, like it was mentholated. But beauty is pain, right? So I decided to keep going. Going back to the website instructions is said to make sure that your mouth is fully coated and that none of your natural skin is shining through. So I added a second coat after the first one dried. I waited for the second one to dry and then I sprayed it with the activator. Friends, they say that the activator has a "slightly sweet taste". I will tell you here and now it tasted like cherry Robitussin when combined with the lip stain. And then I had to peel the mask off which stained my fingers so now I have the stain on my fingers and my mouth. I probably should've used the tweezers. Overall, my coverage is full, but blotchy in some of the spots on my mouth where I was a little too heavy handed. The color/coverage itself falls between eating too much of a cherry icy and a bloody mouth. How long it will remain on my lips is yet to be seen, but I estimate it'll be a few hours. Would I recommend this? I don't know. I don't know if the tingling is normal or if it was just me having a reaction to the ingredients. Don't buy the hype about the sweet taste though.

I LOVED HOW THIS COLOR TURNED OUT. I ordered the Lovely color and wasn’t sure how the color would be because my lips are medium toned. The color was PERFECT. I wanted something on the darker nude side and this hit the nail on the head. After it’s applied, it was definitely smudge-proof and I was able to top it off with some gloss. The color itself lasted all day and I didn’t need to reapply (which I hate doing). Make sure your lips are moisturized prior to applying because my dry lips didn’t enjoy peeling the masque, but it was otherwise a simple application and removal method. I think I’m going to have to get more colors.

I have already tried another color from this same brand. I think that the lip masque is a brilliant idea that eliminates the need of retouching the color over and over This color (Crush) has an orange tint and looks beautiful. The application was easy if the instructions are followed It is very important, I would even say it is a “must” to exfoliate before applying the tint since the color attaches very well to the cracks on the surface of the lips I have not found this information on the product page or on the product and it only mentions that for the full instructions one must visit the brand’s website. The color stays for several hours and from time to time I just apply transparent gloss or oil. It definitely works as expected and better

This item arrived in a sealed, branded box. I'm of an age when every lipstick is no longer suitable for me. Lipstick that lasts can look too heavy, especially on older lips that aren't as plump as they used to be. This isn't like your normal lipstick, for starters it has a purple/bluish appearance. It looks like a lip gloss with a sponge applicator. You put it on and then after roughly a minute, when it's dried, you wipe it off with a damp cloth. The pictures show how looks from the the application, to over an hour and a drink later, then a few hours later after eating and drinking. It lasts longer than your normal lipstick and doesn't leave lipstick marks on cups and glasses, and there's no risk of getting lipstick on your teeth, which isn't a good look for anyone. I don't wear a lot of makeup, I prefer a subtle look rather than a heavy face of makeup and this product suits that look, it's enough to add a natural colour to my lips and it lasts. I don't purchase expensive makeup, I'm not sure if i would pay the price they are asking for this product without a recommendation, yes it's a pack of 2 but it's expensive for something that may or may not work. Now that I know how well it performs i would pay the asking price but, it doesn't tell you how many applications you can get from it and that will play a big part in whether or not I buy anymore. I'm going to use this once everyday and see how many applications I can get out of it then I will return and amend this review.

This lip stain kit is quite nice but not as impressive as I was hoping. The colour this lip stain produces is not super intense but the shade was beautiful so I liked it at first. However, as I was wearing it throughout the day, the shade was fading off quite fast, especially when I started eating and drinking. Overall, this is an alright lip stain kit. It is easy to use and the colour is nice. However, it does not last for very long and quickly starts looking uneven on the lips, which spoils the look. Hence, I think I will stick to regular lipstick in future as it is easier to re-apply in public restrooms compared to this kit (which means it is easier to maintain proper look during the day).

Really easy application, it’s a bit daunting when you apply it and your lips are a wild shade of blue! But it only needs to stay on for 1 minute to dry before then wiping off with water to reveal the stained colour on your lips. This is Romance and is a pinky red that’s not too deep and in your face but gives a nice enhanced shade to the lips. The stain lasts for hours just gradually fading rather than leaving patches of colour. It looks great with a gloss over the top too.
