Well made and effective, last for days
I’ve used these types of scarves for years. I used to make my own. They work by cooling not only the skin but when worn around the neck help cool the blood flow and are effective at helping to maintain stable body temperatures. As an example, a few years ago at seven months pregnant I went camping in the desert in July. I wore long sleeves and pants to avoid sunburns. With a similar gel bead neck cooler on I was comfortable for the week long trip. Now as to this particular brand. My biggest complaints with other brands are the amount of gel beads not being adequate and the fabric being either too thin or poorly stitched together. These have a high amount of gel beads in them. I know the instructions and other reviewers are saying 10-15 minutes, and that’s fine- it’s useable after that long- but I typically soak mine for at least an hour or longer where possible to allow the beads to expand to their maximum capacity. These have enough beads in them that I wasn’t able to let them expand fully. This is good. This means they will cover my neck all the way around with lots of cool water. The more water they absorb, the longer they last. Usually several days. The fabric on these is adequate and should last a long time with good care. They are surged around the edges with an interlocking stitch. I don’t see the seams failing or gel leaking out anytime soon.Even if you have AC and don’t like outdoors events, they’re valuable to have on hand just in case and when dry they take up practically no space. At this price, the real question is what color palette will you choose?

Great value for the money
Definitely was a game changer in a hot warehouse.. kept me cool but they needed to be a little rounder... Kind of tight when they were expanded with water

It does work
These do work. I bought them for my kids baseball/softball. And they get the job done. I would suggest not soaking them for as long as I did. Maybe an hr or so is to much. Follow the instructions and only soak for about 30mins. The little balls get to big if you soak them to long. But we r making do. And it’s keeping the kids cool!

Ok. Don’t last long
Product is ok. It doesn’t stay cold for long, and began oozing after 1 month. It’s as if the gel balls inside have busted.

Did not deliver what was advertised!
Never cooled myself or grandkids down at park. Opened up 3 of the 9 scarves only to find 16 "tiny" beads per scarf which eached measured 15" enclosed area for beads to soak up moisture/cool. Did not cool! Did not meet expectation as advertised! Not worth the money!

Use these for years and continue to buy…Love fun colors.. Best when frozen!
Soak at least 15 min, break up beads ( if clumped) and spread them.. Put mine in freezer. When frozen wrap in thin scarf for around your neck, ( so you done get freezer burn. lasts 3 hours..Works great for Texas outdoor weather.. Love all the colors ..❤️

Not flexible
Not as flexible as the ones I used to use that I completely wore out. It does cool you well just don't try to force it to flex around your neck because it will burst open.
