Outstanding Steam Performance
The Tefal Pro Express Protect High Pressure is an excellent product. Very powerful steam, fast heat-up, and outstanding ironing results. It makes ironing quick and effortless, even on thick fabrics. Build quality feels premium and it works flawlessly. I’m extremely satisfied and highly recommend it.

Your clothes with never scorch again
This is probably the best iron on the market. I found it impossible to find in the shops and when I did, a cheaper model was all that was was available for a much higher price. The iron is light and delivers super fast results. Brilliant iron. Cannot recommend it highly enough

Excellent iron, but it lacks something I take for granted in an iron
I’ve had Tefal steam generator irons for close than three decades. The last one lasted an impressive 17+ years before it finally literally died in a curtain of smoke and a bit of a rather muted explosion. That amazing longevity in an area of very hard water and never, ever bothering with the palaver of the distilled water to fill the tank. But I ordered a Morphy Richards this time to change things a bit, and mostly because it was on offer and it was £20 cheaper than this one. While it had some very good design elements, I had to return it the following day: what a ridiculous idea, an iron with a rounded bottom that you could not stand upright on your ironing board (do any of these designers actually bother to do any ironing at all?). My husband was ready to “invent” a metal shelf to be hooked to my ironing board, blah, blah, blah. But it would never work. Having to return the iron to the base (which has to sit behind me in my laundry room), after every single crease ironed out, in order to reposition the garments with both hands, would drive me insane pretty fast. Enter this beauty delivered the following day. Again, an impressive iron. But I have to say, I preferred the design of the steam generating base of the Morphy Richards, and another thing that puzzled me out with the Tefal one is that it does not have a dial/wheel on the actual iron to regulate the temperature of the sole plate, and I was quite disappointed about that. At this price point (and even in much cheaper irons), you kind of take it for granted. Yes, I did not use it much as I mostly iron cotton and linen, but I still wanted it to be there. The steam generating base has two modes: normal clothes and “eco”. The instruction manual does not offer any explanation whatsoever if what the “eco” mode does or when you should use it, other than a little drawing of a green symbol for “steam” (small), next to the red symbol for “steam” (large) next to the normal clothes button. This is very unsatisfying. I would rather have sn old-fashioned temperature setting dial. Quick evaluation after the first time use: a pile of about 25 cotton handkerchiefs, and yes, iron all these was a breeze, and I’m quite sure it did actually took a bit less time than usual.

Faster, easier ironing.
This is a nice iron, at the expensive end of the scale. It looks sleek and smart, and is very efficient. Both the power cord and the steam cord are long enough to enable easy use, even if the base is on the floor. It heats up to temperature quickly. The base is easy to fill with water and the steam button is extremely sensitive, delivering a lot of steam almost instantly. While I wouldn't say my ironing time has been halved, it has certainly become easier and quicker. There isn't a temperature control dial/button (corresponding to the 'spots' guide on clothing labels), but the temperature appears, so far, to be suitable for all fabrics, so if you don't like having to remember to change the settings this is ideal. For me, there is one con: This is an expensive and well designed iron, but the designers neglected to include power cord storage. The steam cord slides in to a slot on the side, but there is nowhere for the power cord to be stored neatly out of the way. Wherever I try to put it, it isn't securely stored - and could possibly cause a problem if the iron is stored in a limited space as it could get caught on other items. I'm surprised the designers didn't think of this. It also spoils the overall look. However, it's a very good iron and I would recommend.

Great powerful iron
Fabulous iron, fast powerful steam. Had previously bought a Phillips one similar price and it was very loud like a screaming noise and also did not generate as much steam as this at all when held up vertical. Really pleased with this iron

Game changer
Every iron we had before would leak, and we'd buy a different one but they were all the same. These steam generator irons are a life saver! It will never leak because the water isn't stored in the iron itself. And the speed and ease of ironing is so much better than before. Get one - you one regret it.

WOWWWWWWW
I took delivery of this iron a few days ago but I had to order the correct water for it. So today I put the water into the tank and WOWWWWW, what a wonderful steam generator. I had one of a different brand that had no heat settings and I loved how it just ironed every fabric on the market without changing a heat setting. The iron I have of a popular two word brand, stopped steaming last week so I got in touch with the seller and nothing came of it. So, I've reported them to Amazon because ive only had it for ten months but, I've heard nothing yet. I cannot wait any longer because I have so much ironing to do. I will now carry on with my fabulous new Tefal steam generator.

I have now used this steam iron 3 times and I can say the iron offers value for money. On the plus side, it does heat up quickly, holds plenty of water and the steam generation is on demand and about 80% of what I would want in terms of steam power alone. On the downside, I wish the iron were a tad heavier, when standing the iron up, it does not give confidence and I am expecting it to fall over, it hasn't done so yet but its a matter of time. I also wish it had temprature control, for most day to day stuff its ok, but for linen or duvet covers it lacks the heat. Also, there is no stowage for the power lead, again at higher end models you do get this, so I guess you get what you pay for.
