EAS Whey + Casein Protein Powder, Strawberry, 2 Pound

I find myself wanting to try new supplements all the time - whey protein is one. I typically try to get all the protein I can get in through 'real' aka solid foods but sometimes I need quick intake...this is where protein powders come in. I got this because it was incredibly cheap on sale and EAS is a trusted name in this industry (albeit no longer innovative). WHEY+Casein is a new product by them, and I chose this because i prefer blended proteins as they usually come out a bit thicker than straight isolate/concentrates. the macros on this are fairly typical, no large amounts of filler. texture wise this came out as i expected - thicker due to casein. taste wise, it tasted like strawberry. not bad, not great, just like the other strawberry whey proteins I've had. overall, i give this 4 stars due to: value, trusted brand and macros. there are far 'better' options out there but if you want good bang for your buck, this will do.

Bought this for my teenage son who started track this year. We had bought the vanilla before and it was liked. He wanted to try the strawberry. He states it does not mix well. He used the shaking method and was not successful so he tried using the blender, and still had difficulty with it. He mixes it with milk, as we always have. It was very strawberry, and he enjoyed the taste.

I have tried all the EAS line of protein powders they all taste good, the strawberry is the sweetest (compared to vanilla & chocolate). The whey +casein mix is a bit more dense, thicker and chalky powder, however it still mixes well in a mixer bottle with water. This protein powder doesn't have really any fillers or additives( like creatine). Overall good tasting protein, that works at a good price in comparison to other similar products.

I love this protein. The taste isn't bad and it usually dissolves nicely in either milk or water with my shaker ball bottle. The only thing I don't like about it is that it has sucralose in it, which has a tendency to make me itch if I have it too close to bedtime. I've managed to adjust the times I use it and have pretty much eliminated that issue.

I use ON's whey and casein and this was a Deal of the Day so I decided to try it out. This is a quality supplement and EAS makes great products. I am just not a fan of the flavor or the chalkiness that it leaves after drinking it and I have mixed it with milk and more berries as well. I'll probably try a diffrent flavor next time.

I got this protein powder years ago from a store that eventually stopped carrying it.. I liked this stuff so much I kept buying it on amazon! I have a lactose problem and this stuff is one of the few powders that doesn’t make me feel like crap after drinking it! It’s really good and for the money not too bad! This stuff lasts me for months! The taste isn’t bad, I like the strawberry taste with a juice or vanilla almond milk. Definite recommend to people with stomach sensitivity issues!

Good: Tasty and filling. The whey-casein combination seems to give better results than either alone; probably a better mix of amino acids as well. Sucralose sweetening is a plus. Good price for what you get.Bad: Carbs are rather high. Really should offer flavors beyond the basic vanilla / chocolate / strawberry.Bottom line: This is good stuff, at a very good price. I switched to a different brand just to try some different flavors. I'll be switching back. Five stars.

I like the flavor.one scoop is strong enough, IMO, if you don't want added carbs and sugars. Its clumpy when stirred.
