Blackstone® 5471 Propane Adapter Hose & Regulator for 20 lb Tank

Does exactly what I needed it to do. I was able to hook up a traditional propane tank to my portable Blackstone and grill all weekend while camping with my family. This is a more welcome alternative to the smaller Coleman propane tanks you can buy at big box stores. Those are good for your one meal one day cooking excursions, but for a long day or multi day event the smaller tanks will freeze solid making them a hazard for kids as they can freeze their hands to the tanks, or a grilling hazard as there will just be less gas pressure because the tank froze. Larger tanks can suffer from that, but it takes much longer for large tanks to freeze and I believe the Blackstone griddles use so little gas that even on full power mode you are not likely to freeze a large 20LB tank. For $20 it is a worthy upgrade to your blackstone kit.

This was a great replacement for the OEM adapter hose that came with my Blackstone that stopped working after many uses - not sure why but it just quit working even after trying various "fixes". So far this hose has been working flawlessly which is all I can ask of it. Also great price too.

Decent quality.

I originally bought a knock off brand for our blackstone and it did not work properly. I ordered this and the blackstone worked like a charm. Each burner heated up to full capacity, it was easy to install and long enough to reach the propane tank from a table top.

This regulator is designed specifically for this grill. It’s nice to have the ability to use a larger propane tank.

Works perfectly. Using for a 22” portable blackstone rather than the suggested 1# tanks. What a great upgrade.

The regulator doesn’t fit onto a flo gas bottle, I imagine this would be the same for a calor bottle as they use a similar push fitting whereas this is a classic threaded attachment. It also states it works with the blackstone 22” griddle but they have opposite direction threadings so it’s completely incompatible. I’ve even checked blackstones website as on the box it states doesn’t work with 22” pro series but no where on the website do they sell any 22” model that’s a pro series nor is it on the box of my grill anywhere that it’s a pro series, seems like this is an outdated product for their current models that are on sale.
