I bought this stand for my hanging egg chair in our greenhouse and it has worked out really well. It feels sturdy and stable without taking up too much space, and I love that I didn’t have to hang anything from the greenhouse structure itself.Assembly was pretty straightforward and once put together it feels very secure. I got this for a fraction of the price after searching amazon. More than a year ago I might add. Some were more than $100 I got it for much less. Works great. It's strong and holds many different kinds of chairs it's lasted longer than the chairs. We had 3 so far. Very easy to assemble. I do stub my toes on the bottom but oh well.

I ordered this thinking that it was only the stand, considering nothing in the product images, title, or description mentioned that it would come with a chair of its own. Imagine my surprise when I unboxed both a stand AND a chair. I’m not mad about it exactly, since the chair is nice, but it really defeated the purpose of buying this because I already had a hammock chair for it and I didn’t want or need another one.Giving it four stars because it hangs a little too low, and in my case it seems like there was slight misinformation in the advertisement of the product, but so far it seems pretty solid. It came with everything needed, though it was kind of a pain to put together on my own. (If you are small in stature or don’t have lots of arm strength, have a helper on hand.) Considering I got more than I bargained for with my order, I’d say this was a good value purchase on my part, though I would have liked to know that BEFORE putting money down.

Too short for a standard hammock chair with spreader bar. Once you sit, you're on the base of the stand. The pieces are crazy-heavy and the instructions didn't quite match the parts I had to work with, so I had to figure it out on my own. I will say, it seems super sturdy. It was also used, despite me ordering a new one. They were wrapped and Saran wrap, the parts bag had been ripped open and then taped back, some of the bars were scratched here and there. I'm not sure how this had any good reviews, to be honest. Probably my worst Amazon experience ever.

Finally a stand that actually fits a hammock chair. I set it up to be the tallest at first and it was hilarious. I had to stand on a chair just to get into the chair. So, rest assured it’s tall enough for whatever you have.Really wish I had just ordered this and not wasted $60 buying a different frame off Facebook.Also I can do pull-ups on it.Also it came with missing and broken pieces but I’ll figure something out to reinforce it further. I’m pretty sure they sell thumb screws or knobs or whatever at Lowe’s.As for the experience of actually sitting in my hammock chair? Dude. Awesome. It is such a soothing sensory experience for me. My hands automatically go above my head to grab the ropes and I love to make it swing just a little (since my feet can actually touch the ground, now). I absolutely love it. ;) Officially obsessed with hammocks and swings because apparently I’m 5.

item is very stable and looks nice. would also add it seems pretty safe. im 200lbs and i didnt feel as though i was in danger. however decided to return the item as it was too low with the swing i was using making it uncomfortable. putting it together also was a negative experience. a few of the pipes didnt have the bolt holes lined up making it VERY difficult and time consuming to screw it together but instructions were relatively easy to understand. also saw multiple reviews that this item was insanely heavy and would like to add it was pretty easy to move (even taking it up a staircase) as well as assemble on my own

Came in great shape, wasn't hard to put together but I used my own wrenches. I'm 300 lbs and it held me without breaking a sweat.

I liked that you can assemble easy and it’s strong for a single hammock ! Very comfortable for using it on the porch , enjoying coffee or any beverage depending on the time of the day ! I’m very happy with my purchase so far … I can recommend that stand to anyone who looking for something like that…

This is a great stand. I wish it was a bit taller for the hammock chair that I bought, but that is more an issue with the chair than the stand. I have had it outside for months and the wind, rain, hail, sleet, snow, and occasional squirrel have yet to make any significant mark on it. It has held up in 90km winds (without a chair on it of course) and didn’t budge.

Bought this stand for the hammock chair I own... just want to state to be cautious on the type of chair you hang on here. Wish I looked at reviews before purchasing this as I have the same problem someone else did. Looks great when I hang the chair, but not so good when I sit in it. It sits so low that I'm literally sitting on the stand. So disappointed. Otherwise the stand is ok. Easy to assemble!
