I think this is a good lumbar support cushion overall.Before buying it, I was debating between this one and another one that's also very popular on Amazon. The reason why I went with this one is that it's a bit wider than the other one which was more suitable for a chair with a wider backrest.Two things to consider:- It has only one adjusting strap, meaning it does not attach the cushion straight to the back of the chair, so you have to adjust it every time you seat. Two straps would have kept the cushion up straight.- If your seat already has some degree of back/lumbar support, due to it's thickness, this cushion will push you forward, reducing the amount of space in the seating area (where your buttocks rest).The material is good, not too soft, not too hard so it does provide support for the back.

My friend and I are both in our 70's and live in a retirement home. He was suffering badly with his lower back and had bought a wheelchair back cushion but this was not helping, so I looked on Amazon for a padded support and found this one at a reasonable price. When it came I fitted it for him and as soon as he sat down again felt the snugness of it. It is also of a mesh that allows it to breath so his back does not perspire and therefore stays dry and comfortable. Out of all products there are to go through, I recommend you try this one.

Really good product. I recently started driving for about 3 hours everyday due to my job, and very soon my lower back started being painful at the end of the day. I realised that my car's seat was not giving me proper lumbar support and after reading many reviews I decided to buy this product.Initially for the first week or so I was wondering if I have bought the right product, as having this product behind you changes your seating position which your body is not used to. Some days I found it helped my lower back and the pain was less, and on other days it seemed to give more pain.I had to keep adjusting the seat angle and after about 2 weeks I stumbled upon a seat position where it now seems to go really well with my lower back. So I am enjoying it now and it is making my drive lot more easy.In short, this is a really good product - though it may not give 100% comfort as everybody's lower back is different and the car seats are different too.You'll need to try it with the back of your car seat at different angles before you fine the position most suitable for your back.The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because I still feel this product is quite large for my liking and sometimes I feel like cutting it a little smaller so that it fits my back better - but that's a personal choice.Overall a very good product.

Have now just purchased a second one, the first one being over 2 years old and a little bit worn. To be honest the first one is still functioning well enough, i just wanted to treat myself! Having had disc surgery on a lumbarsacral disc, and with 2 bulging lumbar discs, this cushion is amazing at giving support and keeping me sitting upright and not slumping in the car seat. Good quality, copes with daily use without losing support. Took the cover off to wash it and struggled to get it back on, probably needs someone who doesnt have inflammatory disease in their hands to manage that part. Will keep the old one to use around the house or for passengers in the car, would definitely recommend, and buy further ones

I bought this with the hope that it would do as described, and offer me some much needed lower back support when using a computer chair, and I have to say I'm honestly surprised, in a very pleasant way, at what a difference it does make.It offers great support, and encourages a much better posture, without seeming to be 'intrusive' in any way.It feels very firm, but is surprisingly soft when in use, and it is extremely breathable compared to the material of the chair it is in use on, so it helps prevent any kind of sweaty build up, which also makes a very pleasant difference.If you suffer from back pain while sat at your computer, or indeed in any chair, this might be exactly what you are seeking.As the worst case scenario, if you purchased this, and it didn't make a difference, you'd be out of pocket by a small amount of money.However, there's a very good chance that you may well consider it a very sound investment, and revel in the relief it gives, and consider it money very well spent.I would heartily recommend this to anybody who feels they need that little extra support, or needs help with their posture when sat.
