Helpful for getting the height needed
I like that this product provide the extra height needed to be mounted to my deck. However, the holes do not line up when they were being drilled. Also it says to weigh it down with sand which we did however the sand has been oozing out and I’m constantly having to vacuum. Next year I’m just using water like the rest of the ladder. The ladder is sturdy but i do question the weight limit of 300 lbs.

Quality of the product
By adding a piece to our new ladder for our swimming pool, that allowed us have full access to our pool and safer manner than the old ladder we had. This product was a little pricier than I liked, but I needed it.

It works, but...
It does exactly what it says it will. However, at least on mine, the bottom step will NOT stay attached to the ladder. Even after drilling additional holes to allow water, it comes off very easily. You wouldn't think that would initially be an issue, until you consider the base of the ladder will dig into the floor of your liner and poke huge holes in it. So, I have a ladder that will reach from my deck down to the floor of my pool, and now I get to buy a new liner.

Sturdy and easy to install- watch the video first
This was such an upgrade from the ladder that came with our pool. It's sturdy and installation was easy. Watch the installation video first to save you some headaches because the instructions are minimal that are included. The video is really all you need.

Thought it was good but…
Thought this was great for making my ladder just a little longer so it would reach the top of my deck appropriately. BUT the bank triangle pieces that keep it planted on the bottom of the pool no longer stay put so the ladder floats up and there are no instructions or guidance on how to make this work.
