a single fin with the three screw placement (from perfect storm?) can be put on, but requires you creating a hole for the 3rd screw.

Would this fit in a normal car with the back seats down?

Yes, an 8ft fits in a Toyota Corolla sedan so a 7ft should fit no problem!
