Just used this gem of a tool on 2 big black bream I just caught, very easy to use and descaled each fish in under a minute , I held the fish low in a tall bucket and with small pulling motion removed all scales with the bonus of no scales escaping the bucket in my kitchen, if your reading this then just buy it, it’s a cheap price but will last and is a must have if you gut and prep your own fish.

Bought as a theatre prop. Worked perfectly for show purposes. Affordable. Stainless steel so would be easy to clean. I'm not sure this would be much easier to use or more effective than a knife for actually descaling fish.
