This PS5 controller is seriously impressive — it’s easily one of the best controllers I’ve ever used. The design feels super comfortable in my hands, even during long gaming sessions, and the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers add a whole new level of immersion. The buttons are super responsive, the analog sticks feel smooth and accurate, and the built-in speaker + mic are a nice touch for quick chat. It also has a nice weight to it — not too heavy, not too light — just solid and high quality. Battery life has been pretty solid for me, and it charges fast with the USB-C cable. Old controller V2, this one is a V5. Works nicely, charges fast

using it for pc its like the most epic awesome controller ever but here are a few things to keep in mind pros for pc: the haptic feedback is great (even though its gimmicky) the adaptive triggers are awesome if the game supports them the build quality is nice, even the built in speaker is great, all the buttons feel great to press, and it overral feels nice in your hands cons for pc: while it does work natively with steam, you do have to get 3rd party software to use haptic feedback, and to use the controller on anything other than steam. (I recommend DualsenseX). For steam games that do not support the dualsense, you have to enable steam input, or use 3rd party software. (dualsenseX) to be able to use the controller properly. The controller still works great, but the downside is that all icons in most games will now show up as xbox 360 controller icons. the controller is fire thugh

I was really excited to get this controller after all the hype. Even a refurbished one costed 20% more than a brand new Xbox controller. I've been using it for about 3 months now and I want to love it but I can't. The biggest pain point is the segmented D-pad - I'm used to the Nintendo cross pads or Xbox discs - the segmented D-pad causes your left thumb to get sore after awhile (the only relief is to put center of your thumbs over all 4 segments than using the tip of your thumb). I also didn't release the battery life was so short. I'm used to using my 8BitDo Lite for days on end and not ever having to worry about recharging and just charge it when I feel like it. Not the DualSense, it's like having range anxiety on your EV - I'm constantly worried my controller will die in the middle of playing a game. Now I'm glad it has USB-C so it is definitely convenient to charge. I do wish the battery was removable (so it can be easily replaced when it goes bad or swap it with fresh one (like the Xbox controller)) That said, I've been able to use this controller on all my *Apple* hardware: MBP 2015, MBP 2020 (M1), iMac 2017, iPadPro 2018 in Linux (Asahi and Batocera), macOS (Ventura and Sequoia) and iPadOS. What I do like is doesn't have any issues pairing (esp switching between devices) and it does repair automatically on the same device. I also tested using a USB-C cable for a wired connection and this worked great. I don't use it in practice as wireless BT input lag is *not* noticeable. The trackpad comes in handy for software that supports using it like mouse. I am definitely a believer in analog sticks now - I can't believe I even thought it was possible to play games without it (on like a 8BitDo Lite which is all digital input) and finally, you gotta love Cosmic Red - makes me feel better about owning it despite it downsides. I'm happy at the end of the day, just not a "perfect" purchase.

I love using this PS5 controller for playing Dead by Daylight

The DualSense remains one of the most ergonomic controllers, with responsive triggers and haptic feedback that add immersion. The Cosmic Red color looks sharp in person. Battery life is average at ~8–10 hours. Verdict: A stylish, comfortable controller—best if you want an extra pad with a standout color.
