Quite a good dictionary for speakers of English, but a bit less useful for speakers of Tajik.
It is quite a good dictionary for speakers of English, except that it does not provide information about the present stem for the irregular verbs, for which the present stem is not predictable from the infinitive. For speakers of Tajik, the dictionary is a little less useful, it does try to provide the pronunciation for each word, but the pronunciation provided is not very good, it does not distinguish all the English vowel sounds, since it tries to represent them with cyrillic vowel letters, rather than in a scientific way, and likewise it shows the two th sounds using the cyrillic letters for t and d, rather than with special letters, and it does not distinguish between v and w. Also it does not show the place of stress in the English words. Also, English has irregular verbs, so one should show the past tense and the past participle, but this dictionary does not show anything like that, so for example for 'give', it just shows us 'give', not also 'gave' and 'given'.

Better than nothing...
This dictionary is certainly very basic, but quite well done. It contains many common words. However, it does not provide any information on Tajik grammar. For example, the conjugation of verbs in the present tense, which is quite unpredictable, is not mentioned at all. That is a pity. Furthermore, the systematic phonetic translation of each word is frankly useless, especially since Tajik is written in a very phonetic manner. It would have been preferable to use the space taken up by this to provide grammatical information or even examples of usage.
