First Impression Molds B233 Baby 2 Silicone Cake Decorating Mold, Small, Blue, Made in USA

This mold is absolutely incredible. I use it in cake decorating and it's great with fondant. I was sceptical because other baby molds are kinda hideous and I was nervous that it would look "off" like those ones.... But it's phenomenal quality. Just buy it!!! It easily pays for itself if you're an at-home baker. 💖

Love this mold! I just used plain fondant, I first dusted the mold with some powdered sugar (aka as confectioners sugar, icing sugar) then I turned the mold over and tapped out the excess sugar so it would not settle into the fine details. I have not tried it without the powdered sugar to see if it would stick without it. After pushing all of the fondant into the mold, and making sure I got it in there good, I placed it in the freezer for about 5 minutes, and the baby came out of the mold fine! Before you start to work on it, make sure you inspect the face just to make sure every detail came out fine. One important tip to remember: Make sure you roll the fondant in your hand to smooth it out until there are no lines or wrinkles in it, then place the smooth side of the fondant or what ever you are using into the mold. This was perfect for a bbshower cake. I used fondant & The mold worked great and was easy to use. Sturdy and the baby came out very realistic but cute sleeping baby not a creepy look. Def recommend.

I tried other baby mould in past ... my problem was I never get clean n clear face features. So this was what I was looking for. I m very happy with this mould ... baby’s hair , face, fingers all are sharp n clean . Love it
