This EMF Meter works great! It is a great value for the price! It comes with simple written instructions, which is much more convenient than going on the internet. Reading and using the instructions is very important, until you get use to using this device. It is handheld, light and very portable. It also has a chargeable removable battery, and this unit can be directly charged with the supplied USB cable. You can't go wrong by buying this device!

The tester is very easy to use and comes with a nice simple software app for downloading your data to either Windows or Mac. It will record up to 24 hours and the battery is rechargeable and it retains its charge very well. In my usage it only used 22% over almost 20 hour of testing! The application is easy to use and the software installs perfectly and the data is easy to import into Excel. The tester even comes with reference card for values. I had a question about some of the readings and emailed Tech Support; I got an answer within hours! After tryin other testers, the EMF-390 is the best I have seen, and I feel very comfortable with relying on the measurements it is giving me. The data logging is crucial if you are trying to study events over time. The tester also tells you where to hold it so your body does not impact the readings. Well worth the price!

This meter packs a lot of information into a small, hand-held device. EF (electric field) and EMF (electromagnetic field) at 300Hz-100kHz and RF (radio frequency: 100kHz-300GHz) frequencies are detected. All three values are shown at the same time with their appropriate units. The display can be modified, and values shown graphically instead of digitally. A spectrum analyzer display shows the detected RF frequencies in real time. A User Menu is used to set initial values and options. The device retains and shows the current date and time. There is a speaker and a way to set audible alarm settings. A USB-A cable is included to connect to your PC with downloadable software. This cable also serves to recharge the included battery via USB. Four front panel buttons are used to navigate the features. A nice instruction booklet is provided along with a small card showing safe and dangerous levels of radiation. I'm just beginning to investigate what all this device can tell me about my surroundings.

I am an amateur so all the readings are a little archaic to me, but I bought it for a narrow use which it seems to perform well.

They do have some, but the majority of learning how to use the EMF - 390 is from various YT content providers. A little from this one, a little from that one. Needs a complete "How to" video collection.

I have always wanted one of these. Mostly a toy but can also be used to be sure not spending ton of time enveloped in electrosmog. Moved into new house, new bedroom. Was getting poor sleep despite nature air and positive lifestyle. Thought maybe it was the smart meter or dirty electricity / power line a few feet from bedroom. Nah...thats crazy... well this proved the AC power line and smart meter pulses were putting out bigly, unsafe numbers. Started sleeping another way or another room and no issue. Later pics showing of smart meter with and without faraday cage. Lastly showing not all AC adapters are equal, some put out WAY more radiation, even at less voltage/amp/wattage and plugged into same device+wall socket! Can inspect workspace and other areas spending long times. Beyond those uses, its mostly a fun toy. Glad I finally got one. Havent plugged it into a computer to parse data, not sure use of that feature for me. Battery is super long. Includes case that fits on belt which is nice but not easy to open Velcro for quick check. Alternative product would be some usb or PCI wide band radio device for computer (with way more features), but this meter's ease of use means I actually use it, and often, even months after purchase. Everybody finds it kinda interesting, skeptics and tinfoil hats alike.

This is a really nice unit. It doesn't look like it will be that good, but the display is fine for its use case. The different screens do a great job of focusing the test to a specific use or even multiple testing concurrently. I use it to see how much RFI/ EMI is coming out of my House of Gadgets. It was surprising to see how much EMI is radiating out of my old alarm clock radio. I have a lot of electronic equipment, things like ham radio, power inverters, EV, and other noisy emitters. It's nice to check them and see if they are a source of interference for my ham radio setup. Checking the power emission from the mesh wifi endpoints is also a good thing to do, make sure they're not too close to where we sleep.

I was hoping (based on the images of the display) which show RF Browser frequency spread up to 10Ghz, that this would have selectable frequency ranges so you could determine power at various RF spectrum levels. Only really shows a few popular bands like Wifi (2.4Ghz) so was not able to see power at specific frequencies if that's what you need.

Like the product, handy to have! To read the EMFs, EF, RF around the house re Radiation, etc, especially, from Smart Meters.

Useful and portable

Love the concept. Lots of useful information and seems to work around phones and microwaves - it definitely has a reading for each.

Not suitable for what I wanted it for. . got no reading at all from 5G masts . . however, wi-fi seemed to work OK. . .it's possible that the unit was defective. . but I had no way of knowing. Pity, as the Meter is well made and easy to use. . so gave it 5 stars for that!
