Works great
Exactly as advertised. Works great for shade. Stays up even on our most windy days too! (50mh gusts) though you can put it together by yourself it would be easier with two ppl.Update(7/6/23) we had two incredibly nasty storms. Winds at 70mph as well as straight line winds at faster spends. One pole snapped at the connection where two poles meet. ( the metal is now bent and no usable) so while it holds up well in most winds it would be advisable to take down when storms roll through.

It broke twice in two weeks from AZ breeze.
The shade takes two, mechanically inclined adults to assemble, and strength to connect it to the pool. Our pool is protected from wind (see picture), still one pole broke the first night we left it up.After spending a couple hours on repairs (and fiberglass injuries) we got it back up again. Next night, different pole broke. We bought another one the same because it seemed the only option. Then I discovered the sails!

Great for needed shade but not durable to stand in all weather
While I was aware that this was not a durable item for ALL weather, I was pleasantly surprised by the strength of the brackets that this shade connects into. As many have mentioned, this will likely break with a high wind situation. Mine did. I believe it is my fault that I did not take it down when winds were upwards of 20 miles an hour so I don't blame the manufacturer. In the meantime, I will likely use the brackets and some PVC to set across the pool to lift my cover out of the water when we are not using the pool. The price I paid was worth it just for the well-constructed brackets.

Breaks easy
It went together pretty easy for two people. It looked great and provided ample coverage from the Florida sun. However with a little wind that's all she wrote. The poles snapped and no more canopy. Also the clamps dig into the pool lining. Don't waste your money.

Better than the original!
We bought this as a replacement for our original canopy that broke last summer. This one is better than the original! The connection pieces on this canopy make putting it together and maneuvering up and down during storms much easier. The coverage is perfect for our pool size and the quality of material does a great job of blocking the sun.
