Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - PC

The disc and case are in perfect condition, and the games runs amazing! I read most of the comments before buying this and no it will not play on windows 10 but I have a secret devise that still runs windows XP! So the games run exactly like it used to which is amazing and really takes me back to my childhood!

I have windows 10. I bought a used version of the game after reading all of the reviews- because I figured it was very likely not to work anyway so just in case I wanted to throw away as little money as possible. Sure enough, it didn't run. I even played with the properties of the application files and followed the advice of some tutorials on youtube for installing this game on windows 10, but nothing worked. If you really want to try, then I suggest buying a used copy, don't waste $60.

This is such a fun game to play, and I'd say its pretty child friendly, although depending on your child, some of the challenges in the game may be difficult for younger kids. The main issue with the game is it was made for early versions of Windows, such as Windows XP, so I haven't been able to play since getting rid of my Windows XP machine. You will run into compatibility issues with Windows 10/11 and the game will be unplayable.

I want to start off by saying that I love this game to bits. It's one of my favorite games to play despite some cheesy moments and the just-okay graphics. But this game has also traumatized me because: OMGFIRESNAILS In the first game they just went back and forth. Now they rush at you super fast. THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME NIGHTMARES. I can never let someone else play the game when the fire snails show up because I'm always like "NO THEY'RE RIGHT BEHIND YOU RUN! NO NOT THAT WAY! NOOOOOO!" If you're not worried about being terrified within an inch of your life, this is a great game. The people in Hogwarts are hilarious. My favorite thing ever about this game is this one Slytherin boy who says, "Either I'm gripped by fear or my shoes are too tight," when you bump into him. It's just so random and awesome and hilarious, because he says it in this serious voice. Also it looks sort of odd when Harry find Ginny in the Chamber of Secrets. When Ron's stuck in the whomping wilow, he's all like "I THINK I SEE A SENSITIVE SPOT RIGHT THERE!" and there's a huge Flipendo sign right under him. Yeah, duh, Ron. Anyway, I love this game. Go buy it!

I loved this game in my younger days but lost the disk so i bought this. Couldn't get it to work on my computer. Can't get a hold of the seller. I'm not happy.

This game is to die for! but the only thing i have to say is..... DONT BUY IT FROM THIS USER! when i got my package it was wrapped in cellophane and the works! well at the bottom it said "New" so i put the game in my computer and it downloaded! but then when it said new game or load game i said new game and well THERE WAS ALREADY SAVED PROFILES ON THE GAME! AND THE STICKER ON THE BOTTOM SAID "NEW"! I REPEAT DONT BUY THIS GAME FROM THIS USER! I AM SO TICKED!!I

Not happy at all. Tried to load this game on two different computers and all it did was cause them both to freeze up. If my son hadn't thrown away the receipt, I'd return it in a heartbeat,

service was great and fast etc. program just not running on computer, installation went great but it doesn't want to run. I understand there might be many reasons for this, I just thought selling an old game like this you would give pointers on running on newer versions of windows etc

Perfect packaging no damage

I got this game for my girlfriend and me to play (she's not a gamer and doesn't know the simplest things about gaming) and I have to say that the game is easy to pick up and play, the puzzles are child's play and the gameplay is enjoyable.
