. Review: BSB Classic, One Of Their Best - I have been a BSB fan since 1997 and since the release of their latest album, DNA, I've been on a nostalgia kick. This album shaped my childhood, produced so many lasting memories, and introduced me to my first celebrity crush: A.J. McLean. Almost all songs are an easy 10/10 and they don't grow tiresome. It seemed like this album lasted years in the public before they released Millennium, but I was okay with it because there were so many great hits, music videos, concert series, etc. They made this album phase last while still keeping it fresh and relevant. While I love all songs except that last track, here's my breakdown of the album: 1. "We've Got It Going On" - I never appreciated this song until watching their "Homecoming: Live From Orlando" VHS as a kid. It sounds so amazing live! One of the upbeat songs on the album, it features the 2 best voices (imo), Brian and A.J., throughout the song and is a great album opener. 9/10 2. "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)" - all I think of when this song plays are the boys singing in the rain. Nonetheless, I've always loved this song and consider it one of their best ballads. 10/10 3. "As Long As You Love Me" - a fun, upbeat ballad with another memorable music video. This song is so catchy and fun and has always been an album favorite. 10/10 4. "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" - one of the best songs of their career! Album version, live version, the iconic music video. This song is PERFECTION! Always blasting this one in the car. 10/10 5. "All I Have To Give" - I'm kind of in the minority here, but this song was never a favorite of mine. It's good, but I always found it a bit boring and so long. 8/10 6. "Anywhere For You" - classic BSB ballad that showcases the boys' harmony real well and sounds good live. A good slowdown song before getting to the second half of the album. 8/10 7. "Hey, Mr. DJ (Keep Playing That Song)" - I've always seen this as A.J.'s solo song on the album. This song is so good! It's got that R&B soul, it's sensual, it's smooth, it's all A.J., and I don't complain about the length on this one because you're engaged and want more. 10/10 8. "I'll Never Break Your Heart" - another classic BSB song. One of the most popular ballads to date and the last single on the album before Millennium came out. I used to consider this an okay BSB song but as I got older it became one of my favorite songs of theirs. Maybe I'm bias to the songs featuring A.J. 10/10 9. "Darlin'" - so I usually skip over this one. It's not terrible, but not fantastic either. It's a filler song but not a terrible filler. For what it's worth, you get some Kevin solo on this one. 7/10 10. "Get Down (You're The One For Me)" - the best song on the album. Another perfect song and it sounds awesome live (please watch the "Homecoming: Live From Orlando" version). I cannot believe this was never a single off this album. It is so catchy, so fun, so energetic, a real BOP. Another one that gets blasted in the car. 10/10 11. "Set Adrift On Memory Bliss" - I actually like this song. It's calm, smooth, and a good cooldown to the end of the album. Another R&B/smooth number. 8/10 12. "If You Want It To Be Good Girl (Get Yourself A Bad Boy)" - the title says it all... 0/10 Review: Love backstreetboys - Love the backstreetboys cds!!!!

Classic BSB
I am a HUGE Backstreet Boys fan. Not sure what happened to this CD, but when I went to get it out to rip it to my new laptop, the case was empty. So I had to buy a new copy, quickly! I still love the songs on here, just good, classic BSB. Their most recent CD, In a World Like This, is their best yet, in my opinion, so check that out if you are a fan. But this is just a necessity for any fan of the Backstreet Boys.

I am 65 years old and I think these boys sing very well. Their songs are not overrun by loud instruments but have enough instrumental harmony and a cute beat to the music that makes it fun. I did not know the popularity of the group when I heard one song they sang on UTube. I believe the CD is worth listening to when you want to clean your house of do a job at home you don't particularly care to do but must. This peppy beat in some of these songs will be the right pace to do it. Cute!

Nostalgic
I had this album on cassette tape in my younger days. Somewhere along the way it broke. It feels good to have this in my collection again.

I love it!
I bought this album because my mom bought it for me when I was about four years old and it just got lost. Now I decided to buy it because of the memories it brings and also because I love this album.
