I bought one, it was bad right out of the box, stuck on.Amazon sent me a new one, same thing stuck on, no joy.

stays closed regardless of temp
At different room temperatures,the switch stays closed at all wiper positions.It doesn't open unless the probe is at a freezing temperature.Can't be used for window AC.

Out of box failure
After installing fan came on but could not control, ran wide open no mater where thermostat was set. Was past warranty period.
