The lamp intermittently shuts off. Can I do anything to prevent that?

Mind started blinking and then shut off entirely after ten minutes of being plugged in. When I touched the plug-in and the back of the lamp they were both really hot but it wouldn’t turn back on.

Is the lamp head easy to be damaged?

NO, the rotating part is made of metal, and the wire inside can be well protected and not easily damaged, When you rotate the lamp holder.

Does it get hot? Fire hazard?

it does, i think mine stopped working bc the wire and the block were hot and my lamp turned off and won’t work anymore
