Great beginner machine
Bought for my 7 year old Grandaughter, within half an hour of learning how to thread, she was sewing her first project. Great little safe machine for little fingers, particularly like the finger guard. Also ideal for adults & small projects. More than happy!

One of the worst gifts I have ever bought
It looked pretty and my granddaughter is desperate to sew. I thought this would be the ideal gift for a started aged 9. However reality was very different. The machine just fails to sew more than a few stitches without the thread getting knotted and in a jumble. I have been sewing for many many years and I was not expecting this to work like an adult machine but I did at least expect it to work in some way. I have spent two very frustrating afternoons trying all sorts of things to make it sew, like changing tension, threading and re-threading the machine and changing needle and threads used but nothing has made it any better. The only thing that has happened is that it has put my granddaughter off sewing. I hope I can rekindle her enthusiasm by letting her loose with my machine. I would not recommend this in any way at all. I have nothing good to say except it looks pretty!

Disappointing fault.
This was bought as a present for Christmas- thankfully decided to get it out of the box to check it over . Found that the socket for the plug for the foot pedal was defective and so the plug wouldn’t stay in and therefore it couldn't be used. Item was returned for refund.

Looks great but doesn't sew
The machine itself looks great, however it is not possible for my 8 yo daughter to use it and even I couldn't get it working. 4cm straight line is the best I could do, otherwise it breaks the thread immediately or gets stuck on the same place. I tried to reset the thread many times and used different material, but it didn't help. Also I need to mention that the machine has only 2 speeds - both too fast for children to use.

Don’t buy this Sewing machine if you want to sew
Bought for my 8 year old Granddaughters birthday after she showed an interest on an adult sewing machine. We wanted a simple machine which was safe for her to use on her own and to build her confidence in sewing some simple items.Machine would not run for 20 seconds without jamming or breaking cotton, totally disheartening. We had a seamstress check the cotton tension etc and even she could not get it work correctly. In the end we tried to get someone to have look at it in case it was faulty, but the company seems to be based in Holland and the contact we did te.mail came back with “we are outside there area and therefore to far away.”So we have put it in the dustbin and bought her a simple adult machine for not much more money and she is quite happily sewing with adult supervision, she has made a apron, a bag and some dusting gloves, we hope now she will carry on with this valuable life skill.Lesson learned this was a waste of money try before you buy.
