Great fit for my Jeep
I used this and my old generator mount to add an alternator to my Jeep CJ2A

Ordered it only for the long arm. A little custom cutting/welding and it works really well. The radius is perfect for the old Delco alternator.

Works with tall valve covers
Worked fairly well as is to move the alternator out a little past the factory driver side mounting position to allow for belt adjustment when using tall valve covers. I added a 1/2 nut as a spacer between the 2 bracket pieces to get the alternator even further away from my tall valve covers. Works great with a belt 2 inches longer than the factory belt.
