Does it work on prescription labels?

Yes. It does. Scotty Peelers were originally developed for peeling off labels form medical equipment.

Best way to remove stubborn stick on labels from the back of wood pictures? I have steel and plastic peelers

Recommend steel but whichever one you are most comfortable with.

Do I have to wet the label? I had a hard time removing the label from a resin figure.

It depends on the label. Most of the time we don’t

Does it work on wood?

The metal Scotty peeler (as pictured) is very sharp and might scratch the wood if not careful! Probably better to use a plastic Scotty to avoid damaging the wood surface! Scotty in one hand and heat gun in the other! This should work fine!
