Absolutely fantastic. Powerful magnet. Works amazingly well. I was doing a bunch of angle grinding friction cutting and the ground around my work area was covered with metal shards and fine metal dust. This tools worked like a dream. It picked up all the metallic dust and shavings with ease. Its not everyday that a tool impresses me so this was a great surprise. Highly recommend for anyone doing metal work.

This magnet is outstanding. I use it to clean my plasma table, lathe and mill. Picks up a lot of material and then cleanly releases it. Best magnet design I've ever had.

This is a tool every workshop needs to make clean up quicker and simpler. Well worth the money. I purchased 2 of them.

It works good at attracting ferrous metal (iron,steel). So that includes mills, lathe, etc. in addition to the swath. It gets most out of the ways and beds, but not all. The magnet has plenty of power and the dump is mostly good, but you have to keep the surface of the tube free of oils to work best. I am going to use it because it gets most material quicker than a vacuum, keeping the filters cleaner.

Clean, fast cutting with very few sparks.. highly recommend. Small footprint is great for cutting in a small garage.
