TC Electronic UNITUNE CLIP Clip-On Tuner with Strobe and Chromatic Modes and 108 LED Matrix Display for Uncompromised Tuning Quality

A friend kept handing me his copy of this tuner every time we played, and after the umpteenth go I finally took the hint and bought one myself. I’m glad I did. It’s one of the very few clip‑on tuners that will confidently pick up a bass E string without sulking or pretending it can’t hear anything. That alone puts it ahead of half the tuners I’ve owned over the years.Once it’s clipped on the headstock, it just gets on with the job. It picks up every string reliably, doesn’t vanish halfway through tuning, and the display is clear enough that you can read it even in a dim rehearsal room. The accuracy seems spot‑on too — no odd wobbling or second‑guessing the note.I stuck it on the end of the bass the day it arrived and haven’t looked back. It’s dependable, easy to use, and does exactly what you want a tuner to do without any fuss.

Not the cheapest in the market, but for me, find it fantastic and very accurate. Yes it does turn off rather quickly, to save battery life I guess, but it’s not hard to turn it back on again. Maybe a rechargeable battery?Only other minor thing is I tune from 432htz sometimes and this tuner does not allow that. Great tuner though

This is a very good tuner, with one of the best and brightest displays I have seen on a clip-on device. Extremely clear display, easy to read in any conditions - even the darkest stage. It’s very light and compact with a good, sturdy clip, which may not be ideal for cellulose guitar finishes due to its tight grip. The on/off switch is a little bit fiddly but that isn’t a big issue.I haven’t had it long, so I can’t yet vouch for battery life. I’m not expecting that to be a problem though as I have previously found TC Electronic products to be of good quality and fit for purpose.

Does the job very well, a bit too expensive

I love this tuner, picks up my 5 string B perfect.. my hubby loves it too and keeps knicking it. That his Christmas perssy sorted ... The clip is metal and strong. Folds flat so I can leave it on the headstock

So far so good, working well.

Very easy to use, small size but nice big display. Seems well built. Unsure about battery life but so far so good. I’ve had a number of tuners over the years and this one is probably the best in terms of portability and ease of use. I would recommend this product.

The only travel tuner I need.

El mejor afinador. La cuerda B la capta como si nada.

This is a quality tuner, works fast and easy to read on stage at daytime or night gigs. I think it's accurate, or at least plenty accurate for my needs, and works on my bass as well as guitar. Battery life is good, haven't needed to replace batteries in a year of use, and it is a clip on tuner so you can leave it on the instrument and not risk leaving it at a gig. It's slim and folds out of the way when not in use.One of the "killer features" is that you can strum all six strings and it gives a high / low chart of all six at the same time. I don't typically use this much, but it is clever and can be useful to get a quick look at whether you need to stop and tune. The price is high relative to snark, though the price of snark has been going up and the quality has been going down, in my opinion, which is why I tried this one.

Great tuner.
