Lid Organizer for 950 Case (950-LIDO)

This fit a case I had that was missing the stock foam. Was easy to lay out and custom fit my rangefinder camera collection. 👍👍

Exactly what I wanted.

There was four sheets in the pack. I do not own the case so have no idea how the layers go. However one is egg coned and would go in a lid well, it was sized as stated in the description. The next two were cubed and rectangular. With a 1/2” border. The cubes are the full length of the foam thickness. Each layer is about 2” thick and the full length and width is slightly smaller than posted. The last layer is no larger than the cubed section of the previous two layers and is only about a 1/2” thick. For my purposes I used one of the cubed layers in the lid. And the other cubed layer in the base. I had to cut the cubes out with a razor knife then cut the removed cubes in 1/2 and place one 1/2 back in the space to position the tools correctly to create a good crush with the case closed.

When I bought my Nanuk 950 I knew this existed but was determined to not buy it due to the price . Well….. after shadowing my tools in foam I had a lot of small items with no home so I opted for the lid organizer. It’s very nice and has lots of space for my smaller tools such as punches, cables and socket adapters . My only compliant the price ! WOW ! If I had it to do over again I would have went with a Pelican box for that reason alone .

The organizer itself is nice, but I purchased a “used - like new” item that was packaged with the Velcro adhesive exposed directly to packing paper inside the box the item was delivered in. The Velcro now doesn’t stick to the case. Very poor packaging that kind of ruined the product.

The organizers is not rugged, I had it for month now my pocket ripped

Foam Was better than what it originally came with

This organizer makes use of the space in the case lid. Lots of compartments to hold a laptop cords, cables, extra batteries etc. The only complaint is that it seems to be over priced.

for the price, its a disappointment. The top layer of foam always comes out with my camera or lens when I take them out. And in the short time I've used it, the sides around the holes I've cut are falling apart. I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it.
