I'm impressed with the accuracy
I got this after trying the one my brother in law had. I am impressed with the EASE OF USE and the ACCURACY of this stud finder. It locates the studs and other items behind the walls of my house so fast and efficiently. It even works on thicker walls. The lights make it easy to see exactly where the stud is located.

Works well - good value
This stud finder works well and is easy to use. A good value for the price. It is nice that it also detects electrical wiring in the walls.

Nice device that detects studs AND AC wiring. Plus great reviews
I have used this on 3 different walls at this point and it is nice. The green center mark is dead center of the stud and it tells you if electrical is detected. And it has been accurate so far. Every one of my outlets and it detected the AC. Slides nice on the walls and has already saved me headaches. I have an old Black & Deckard laser level and stud detector, but the stud detector does not tell me where AC is located, but it seemed pretty accurate for 15 yrs old. The laser level still works great, so I just split the devices between 2 things now. $40 I thought was a little steep but I see the reviews and they are great, both on Amazon and the internet.

Finally, a stud finder that just works!
Finally, a stud finder that works. Well worth the cost. I used it to find studs in the ceiling for attaching hanging doors on bookshelves. Quick, accurate, easy to use.My two old-style stud finders are going to the junk pile.

Works great, very accurate and so far pretty durable
I had my doubts about this stud finder as it looks pretty basic- but I have to say it’s very accurate with both stud finding and alerting me when an electrical wire is near or on the stud. I haven’t had any false positives and no misses in the few months I’ve been using it. Plus, despite it being cheap looking, it’s taking some pretty good falls and still keeps working like new. Great product!

I was pretty surprised with how accurate this is. The feature that shows electricity is a life saver too. It is very easy to use and finds studs pretty accurately.

Great product. Definite upgrade from my decade old one-sensor Zircon
This is a great device for detecting studs behind drywall. A night and day difference between the old one-sensor Zircon I've used in the past versus this one with several independent sensors. Since there are multiple sensors, it's easy to see how wide the studs are without having to go back and forth and marking up the edge of the stud on the dry wall. Also nice to see the sensor closest to center turn green. Definitely saves time to be able to view the size of the studs I'm working with before deciding to drill into the wall.I've had mixed results with the live wire detection. The live wire alert will sometimes pop up without me moving the scanner on the wall. I'm assuming that occurs when I'm near a live wire but not exactly on top of the wires. Unsure. But at least it's a warning there may be electrical dangers I may encounter at the current location.Even if you don't go with this detector, spend the extra money to get a detector with the same form factor with multiple sensors. That's the most important part of these scanners.
