Hunt A Killer Death at The Dive Bar, Immersive Murder Mystery Game -Take on the Unsolved Case as an Independent Challenge, for Date or with Family & Friends as Detectives for Night, Age 14+

We have been having a weekly game night and added this to that. We really enjoyed it, it was challenging but not too difficult and helped us pass a couple of hours. Will consider some of the other titles from this maker in the future.

Bought as a gift but it looks very good & a good & strong box

I proposed to my fiancée on our anniversary and had bought this as a surprise for us to complete together once we returned home as she loves true crime and murder mysteries. This one was really good fun and we really had to rack our brains at points even though it was “easy” really nice quality evidence/objects/letters and very decent hint system if you get stuck!! 10/10 would buy from them again

A weaker entry in the series. The lock box puzzle was a good one and it's a nice challenge piecing the timeline together. Forbthe added difficulty of this one, the payoff is fairly weak though and not very satisfying. Plus tla couple of the reveals don't quite work with the materials provided (trying to avoid spoilers). Unless you can pick this up at a serious discount, I'd skip it.

Unbelievable fun. Brilliantly entertaining and really cleverly made. Also, beware of pickles.

Got this as a gift for my girlfriend. We played it together just the other night and were both really impressed by the quality of the contents. Effort has been taken in producing realistic documents and objects. The story was fairly intricate with some interesting developments. The codes were well explained but not too simple - we still felt smart when we cracked them! Fully recommend giving this a go. We've already ordered another one!

Didn't have to write out a massive amount, just when cracking codes. Quite a small game with not that many bits, but some bits are of a very high quality. Took about 2 hours to do.

Really enjoyed this - was very fun and the interactive section made this even more engaging. Looking forward to buying the rest!

タイトルは修正されましたが、「ダイブバーで殺人死を狩りましょう」 じゃない。ダイブ・バーは被害者が経営していたバーの名前。 「殺人死を狩りましょう」じゃなくて、Hunt a Killer（殺人犯を 探し出せ）。 殺人事件の資料（捜査資料、脅迫状、被害者のメモ、ダイヤル鍵付きのバッグ、etc）を元に、 犯人（これの場合容疑者は4人）を当てるゲーム。行き詰まったら、メーカーのHPに ヒントがあります。正解は同梱の封筒に入っています。 日本語のタイトルは写真でも分かる通り、Hunt A Killerシリーズの『デス・アット・ ザ・ダイヴ・バー』です。『ムーンサミット ミステリー コンプリートボックス セット』は、これと同じ様なゲームが7本入っています。米アマゾンから買いました （送料手数料込みで200ドルくらい）。 追加）解いてみましたが、写真に不明瞭なものがあるのが不満だったものの、 まあまあの内容だと思います。暗号解読が一つのポイントですが、それほど のものでもありません。 2021年12月にアガサ・クリスティものの新作が出るので予約しました。 =============================== 1930年代にDennis Wheatleyがプロットを提供してCrime Dossier（犯罪調査書類）というミステリー のシリーズ（Murder off Miami, Who Killed Robert Prentice?, The Malinsay Massacre, Here with the Clues! の4作）を出版しました。これは、A4判位の大きさで、事件の調書や証拠物件（タバコの吸殻、手紙、電報、etc）も収めたもので、最後に解答が封印されているというものです。1970年代にアメリカで復刻され（それを私も買いました。 Here with the Clues! だけオリジナルの中古版）、日本でも（証拠品は印刷だけど）翻訳が出版されました。さらに、同様のものが、『佐武と市捕物控 死やらく生』（1983年）とか和久峻三の『雨月荘殺人事件』（公判調書ファイル・ミステリー）（1988年）とかの形で世に出ています。シャーロック・ホームズものの実録（ドイルが書いたもの）に沿った形のものも出版されています（オリジナルは証拠品のレプリカ付き、復刻版は全て印刷）。 望むのは、日本のアマゾンでもこれ以外のHunt A Killerシリーズを取り扱うようになって、もっと気軽に注文できるようになることです。さらに出来るならば、ゲームそのものを日本語化して欲しいですし、更に更に、日本でもこれに匹敵する様なゲームが作られるなら、それはもっと喜ばしいことになるでしょう。 日本でも、これに近い推理ゲームを作っている所があります（購入もしています）が、それほど話題に なっていない所を見れば、世間一般の感想は私と一緒なのでしょう。今の日本にも優秀なミステリ作家 が大勢いるのですから、彼等の協力を仰いでこの様な作品を作るのはそんなに困難ではないと思います。

Nice family game

Very good game. The clues were fun, you had to be very thorough. Get paper and pencil and take good notes!

Save it for a rainy date night at home. Both of us enjoyed ourselves and the code breaking was hard enough to keep us going. I really appreciated the level of detail in the evidence

Ok I have tried the Unsolved Case Files which are also very immersive and fun to spend a couple of hours on. The only reason why I didn’t pick Hunt a Killer first was I didn’t want a subscription. So this standalone box from them really caught my eye and I knew I must give it a try! Fantastic! And I grabbed Mystery at Magnolia Gardens and Body on the Boardwalk as well. Truly hope Hunt a Killer does more of such one-off boxes.
