Absolutely garbage. AC charger was made out of such flemsy plastic, it literally came apart plugging it into the wall. Radio reception is terrible even outside. When charging, it make a loud thumping/popping sound when you plug it up without any power on. Cant preset channels either no matter what i try. Blutooth works good but thats it. Mine is incredibly loud to the point that power meters wont even show unless cranked up even louder. Lowest volume to me sounds like med-high volume. Now i need to decide if im sending it back or just live with the crappy product. Atleast the charger cube i could easily replace.

No apparent damage but after charging it and turning it on it would stop working. Had to turn it off and back on and then it might work for a few seconds and stop again. Pretty radio, its a shame it didnt work.

The white and silver version I purchased is the newer version, no D batteries, just a rechargeable lithium one. The sound is pretty decent once you customize it and play with the settings and the equalizer. Bluetooth connected right away from my PC on Windows 11, was able to listen to YouTube music on it. Have not tried USB/SD yet. Radio seems to be fine. The buttons other than the equalizer ones are a little cheap/flimsy so I try not to use them and just use the PC to adjust anything. You can customize the sound even more to your liking using a Windows Sound Equalizer if playing through a PC. It's actually a decent size, a little bigger than I thought! I put scissors in one of the pics I took so you an get a feel for how big it is. I would not want to carry this around on my shoulder like the old days LoL! The lights on the equalizer light up, I haven't figured out how to get the volume level LEDs in the top left to work though. They come on when you start up the unit but I don't know how to get them to sync with the music. Of course there's no instruction manual :p. This was worth it to me just for the 80's look and nostalgia alone. If you have the money and don't mind overpaying for it a bit, because it's been a while now since this thing came out, and you want that 80's nostalgia, it's worth it. Just don't expect some top of the line system :p.

Did not come with a manual had to look it up online no charging cable either and for $206 I returned it

I will give it 3 stars because: 1) The good: Looks great 2) The bad: The supplier included a 5V adapter. This thing takes 12 V. 3) The equalizer is whack. The 5 band EQ has only 3 bands working. Out of the "bass", "mid-bass", "vocal", "high vocal" and "treble" EQ sliders, the "bass" is swapped to the "treble" slider, the "bass" one does not work and the other 3 are not too good. 4) The speakers sound out-of-phase. May have to open and check polarity. 5) There is a slider switch in the back. No documentation as to what it does. 6) For some reason, it will turn itself on in the middle of the night. That's crazy. Woke me up this morning; had to go turn it off. The manufacturer took a lot of shortcuts to build this thing. Looks are great; just like old school boomboxes but the quality and execution of functions is TERRIBLE! But if for looks. Don't buy it for sound/operation.

Cant tune the radio manually, will not save stations. I can't seem to stop radio from turning on in the middle of the night. I have to in plug it and wait for the battery to die on order to keep it from happening. Bluetooth works when it wants to. Disappointing to say the least.

This product is pricy but it's absolutely worth the money. Looks great and the sound is brilliant. All functions work as expected in the description.
