Q: What are the measurements of this item (in mm)?

the main body (wide part) is 15 mm in height, overall height uncapped in 25 mm and about 28 mm capped. the diameter is about 13 mm and the diameter of the opening is about 8 mm. hope this helps

Q: are they safe for liquids for travel

yes. I've already been using them for liquids in travel, meds, cosmetics, and have had no problems with leakage. They have a little domed plastic seal in the lid.

Q: What is the weight of each vial alone, without cap and without orifice narrower? The reason I'm asking is that I want to use these to weigh caffeine powder, using a 20 g scale, so the weight of one vial should not be more than 18 g (less than 2/3 oz.)

Don't know but you can measure it on a digital scale at the post office, or one in a thrift store (don't even have to buy the scale), or ask the person in the grocery deli to weigh it, etc.

Not sure, use primarily for storage. But for the price, would not be out a lot if you purchases and the vials don’t tolerate heat well.
