Archipelago Botanicals Botanico De Havana Lotion

This is a very nice, moisturizing lotion. I love that the consistency is thick and rich, without being greasy or making your skin like it's wearing an extra heavy layer. My experience is that it absorbs into the skin immediately, leaving you feeling so fresh and silky. When I first used this, I thought about giving it to my husband, because I thought it smelled too "manly" - whatever that is. At any rate, the scent was almost overpoweringly citrusy. However, it fades into a very soft, lovely scent that permeates your night clothes and bed linens in the most pleasant and relaxing way (I use this after I shower before going to bed). I have used this a few times before going out and, believe me, you do not need additional perfume. Because the scent of the lotion mellows out so nicely, I decided to keep it. I like that there are no weird ingredients and NO PARABENS. I hope Archipelago never adds parabens to this formula, or to any of their products, because I will be heart broken. I will definitely purchase this again because it's a very luxurious lotion, it's loaded with good ingredients and essential oils, and I feel like I'm really treating self each time I use it. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is the price. This is probably one of the most expensive lotions I've ever treated myself to...but then again, maybe that's the key word - "treat". Because this is a treat, and because I have learned that I am worth treating myself to nice things, I will be purchasing this again.

Smells so damn good. And the formulation is non-gready and absorbs quickly. I put it on before stacking a cologne on top for all day aroma. 100% worth the money.

I first encountered this lotion while on vacation and bought a small tube to keep in my purse. I couldn't get enough of this creamy, moisturizing lotion and its heavenly scent, so when I got home I purchased this larger bottle. I use it every day after the shower and my skin feels soft and moisturized all day without feeling greasy or drying out after a few hours. This is my favorite lotion, and I absolutely love the scent. I wish there was also a body spray to pair with the lotion.
