I’m reviewing the bright colour set here, and sure enough, the sheets are fairly bright- not the brightest coloured card you’ll ever see, but cheerful. Some of the yellows and greens have a bit of a pastel hue to them which may not be quite as bright as you’d want for some primary school work, but it’s a pleasant rainbow of colours. There’s only one sheet of each colour, so if this were intended for primary school work, you’d have to beware that the kids are going to fight over the best colours! That limitation is enough to make me nervous and extra careful to avoid making a mistake when first cutting or putting pencil to paper, as there are no spares. That has the effect of making the paper feel more premium than it actually is. The quality of the card is very decent. 160gsm is reasonably thick and has some rigidity to it, but it’s still easily cuttable with scissors. It takes ink and pencil well. The key difference that makes it “professional artist paper” rather than “kids craft paper” (though it’s a fairly thin margin) is the complexity of the texture. It has a discernible grain that I’m more accustomed to seeing on white or cream-coloured paper, and which does meld with the texture of the pencil work you do on it, especially with soft pencils. I’m always a bit dissatisfied with the markup that is so often applied to “professional art materials”, and at over five quid for ten sheets of paper, regardless of the colour or the 160gsm thickness, I still think that’s too steep. It is an interesting set to experiment with though, and it’s interesting to try doing pencil work on some different backgrounds for a slightly different experience.

Considering the pack size and cost, this is quite expensive per sheet, but the quality is definitely there. It's a lovely fully saturated vibrant set of coloured. The colour permeates the entire body of the board, so its great for crafting and mixed media, no harsh edges.

The paper isn't bad and although I'd have preferred a heavier weight I'll still be able to use it. But it's a fiver for 10 A4 sheets (at time of writing) and seems very overpriced so I wouldn't consider getting more.

This is excellent card. The colours are vibrant and rich. The texture is beautiful and very interesting. I like how there's different texture on each side.It's extremely high quality art material. The photographs on Amazon are a good and realistic representation of the colours I recieved. I'd get this again.

A packet of 10 sheets of A4 craft/art paper. Part of the "Bright Colour" series and the colours are certainly bright. Double sided quality which means there's little/no seepage if you use both sides of the sheet and the paper grain is quite raw which means watercolour works well. Great for sketching but I think watercolour paint is by far the best medium in this case. Happy to use.

Its not canson

Colours are beautiful, but they arrived all bent in one corner. Heavy books did not get rid of the bend, so the sheets are useless....a waste of my money They should have been mailed in a cardboard sleeve instead of the flimsy bubble wrap packaging.

Works great for my quilling.
