All of the perks of a fire pit without having to mow around it! I have burnt a ton of wood on this thing and it is holding up great. Our concrete walk way that we use it on is also holding up great and barely gets warm to the touch, even during biggest of fires. It has also been overloaded on multiple occasions and hasn’t shown any signs of giving out. Though I have not done a true head to head test, this style of fire pit seams to burn a little cleaner than your typical fire ring due to increased air flow. This fire pit is high on the gift list for many of my friends and family after seeing it in use.
