Kieninger QPA32 / Howard Miller 354476 Replacement Grandfather Floor Clock Movement by QWIRLY - Compatible with Hermle 2214, 2215W and 2215 Battery, Quartz, 2 Chime

I have an old Hermle clock that stopped working some time ago. I looked everywhere and couldn't find a replacement movement. I tried a couple of options that I thought might work, but none did the job. This one, however, works great. The pendulum swings, the chimes work, the clock keeps precise time. I'm so happy to get this old clock working again! The item arrived quickly. Good instructions. Easy to install. Highly recommended for anyone in the same situation.

Solder connections on the speaker fell off after I removed the worlds thinnest rubber band that was holding it to the outside of the unit (Not mounted to ANYTHING). Luckily I know how to solder so I had to fix it. Old clock hands were nowhere near close to fitting and they have NONE in stock to buy that WILL fit ! Neither does anyone else !!(Minus one star)Good setup instructions but NO instructions on how or where to mount this teeny-tiny speaker to produce the best sound. So I am kinda betting I could get better sound out of an old AM radio speaker but I will not know until I can figure out how and where to mount the speaker it came with !On top of all that..... It occasionally skips a 1/4 chime and does not always chime the correct hour !Don't waste your money !!!

The clock movement was a good replacement for a Jauch mechanical movement. Was easy to install.Instructions could have been better, but I figured out the modifications needed. You definitely have to order aset of hands to fit the movement, because the originals did not fit. Seems like a good product and well worth the money.

It took some modifications for my particular project, replacing an old mechanical movement in grandfather clock with battery operated, but very happy with the unit and the service from the company.
