Last year I ordered some red light flashlights to join an astro group. I liked them because they were not that bright and had adjustable light. But they were flimsy. These lights are solid! Really solid. Well built. Took me a moment to figure out how to put in the batteries. And then when it did not work, I took it apart again and realized it uses 3 AAA batteries--not two. Light is rather bright which is good and bad. A little strong for when I do photography. But good enough so I can see when I try to use them to walk in the dark--something that I could not do with my previous lights.I think you will be very happy with these well made lights.

Great lightweight flashlight for turtle walks. Small and easy to carry, but still has a bright red light. Durable. Red LEDs are better for the turtles than a red filter. Just keep them out of the turtle's eyes.

Used them at Texas Star :Party and they worked great!
