Ergobaby Easy Snug Infant Insert, Grey, Premium Cotton

We tried to use a rolled muslin cloth under his bottom first for a while but it didn’t work too well. Bought this and it was so easy to use and kept our baby’s hips/legs in that “M” position. He seemed comfortable in it and could fall asleep easily on the go. Awesome quality! Threw it in the wash and dryer several times and still works like a charm. I wish we had bought it sooner

I love our Ergobaby. Best investment. It's easy to put on, easy to take off, supportive while wearing. The straps make it easy to adjust. The insert has been helpful & was easy to apply to the actual carrier. It works well, & Ergobaby is the best quality carrier we've had!If I could change one thing, it would be to offer it in black because that goes with the carrier versus grey.

Although I think that it should come with the carrier itself, I love it. We started using our ergo as soon as the insert came in, when our son was about 3 weeks old. It made him sit nice and snug and safe in there. We love it. We use ours for shopping trips as well, since he stays happy and content in there longer than if we try the car seat method. We ordered the natural color insert, and it looks great. Looks very organic, and is very soft. Always stays secure in there, no matter how it gets smashed during packing it around. Have not washed it yet, so I don't know how it will hold up after that. Again, I think that Ergobaby should include this in their carrier package, but I guess we are happy they have an option to purchase it at all so we didn't have to wait months to use our carrier. Also easy to install.

My baby was about 3 weeks old here and around 10-11lbs. Fits perfectly in the carrier and easy to clip in! I like that it’s a seat for the baby to sit on and it’s comfortable for parent and baby.

I tried the "blanket hack." I was ok with that, figuring kiddo would outgrow the insert quickly and it wouldn't be worth the money. But hubby wanted to buy this, so we did... And it is worth the money!!!The little pillow is thicker and softer than a blanket, and holds its shape. (If you use a blanket, you have to keep refolding and repositioning it.)The insert provides support to back of legs, and back of head, so that it cradles kiddo and it just seems more comfortable.It does make the ergo bulkier and warmer, but it just feels better for both kiddo and the person wearing baby.Easy to clean - throw it in washer and dryer. It's held up well.Don't be like me and use the blanket hack to try to save money. This is worth it. You won't regret buying it.

A friend gave me the ergo 360 and I wanted to try with my newborn. Overall it’s a good product for helping me use the ergo with my newborn. Just a few things I don’t like...The cost is high for temporary use. I don’t go out much since it’s not been very warm. The straps that attach always come undone while the baby is in the carrier. Not too much of a big deal, but makes the baby sink too low. The color gets dirty easy and is not as breathable as it seems. It’s a little bulky, but the cushion is soft and my baby doesn’t mind sitting on it. One positive is that it is detachable so when my son gets bigger we won’t have to deal with it.If you have an ergo and want to use it with newborn under 12 lbs, buy this. So long as you plan to really get some good use from it. 4 stars cause it’s really been somewhat useful to me, with only minor problems.

I heard bad reviews about the original Ergobaby Infant insert, which made me reluctant to purchase one. However since my newborn is too little to fit in the ergo (so I can't wear her because it is very uncomfortable for her) I was getting desperate. I have two children and one is 17 mos going on 3. It's impossible for me to keep up worth the bigger one while carrying our newborn. While looking online and debating whether or not to purchase the insert I found the new model Infant insert. I bought it hoping that it would work for my child. I love love love this product! My infant fits perfectly in the ergo now, this handy little insert is perfect for long walks, working around the house, and just getting my hands free! my little one fits in it snug as a bug. I highly recommend this product for a newborns.
