For one, it was a good price. I've been fighting an invasion of earwigs. They've even burrowed through the main stem of bushes and killed plants. Sevin has been great at taking care of - after I know where they are. Frequently, I don't see them where I treated for at least a year. This year, I'm treating all of the gardens and lawn so there are no "safe" places for them to go. To do that, I'm going to need a large quantity that I have not been able to find in stores or garden centers.

I was at my wits end with fleas and ants in my yard mainly fleas... the neighbor has alot of.. ummm... outside stray cats. So it's difficult to keep fleas out of our yard. (I assume that's the issue as we've never had a problem with fleas until she started keeping all these stray cats outside.) Anywho.... we used this on out yard, it does need to be watered or rainy the day of spreading in order for it to work. But this has been such a great product! We are virtually flea free in our yard now. And as a bonus, the ant and tick population has also dwindled. If you have children I would read the safety warnings before use just in case.

Amazing the extent to which this product works so well, used in the periphery of land, patio and area usage. There are NO BUGS on my porches, sidewalks, sides of my house, eaves, windows and no more (or fewer) cobwebs. I struggled using products around my house, not wanting to influence wildlife chain... abundant frogs, lizards, walking sticks and Praying Mantis... did I miss anyone?? After being besieged by seed ticks, chiggers and "invisible" critters, I had to "do something". I am much happier, and I am pulling less ticks off of the dogs and cat. They (visibly) are scratching less. There is a reason SEVEN has the reputation is has. Makes "everything better" and everyone happier.

Easy to spread. I mix in with fertilizer while wearing gloves. 1 bag covers front yard, 2nd covers back. Give it lots of water. You will see results by the next morning. Especially those darn mole-crickets.

After hurricane Debby dumped a ton of rain on us, it brought the fire ants out. Just one application to each mound took care of the ants
